Can any of the Brexit party supporting leavers on here tell us why?

Is it because they're racist twats?

Did Widdicombe phone Tehran and advise them to chain her to the radiator?

bellinisurge · 19/09/2019 18:50

I wonder what they'd have done if she'd been called Claire Smith.

twofingerstoEverything · 19/09/2019 19:01

They are heartless, ignorant dickheads.

Theworldisfullofgs · 19/09/2019 19:02

Awful people

Mistigri · 19/09/2019 19:03

It seems like a massive own goal from a party that has spent a lot of money and effort to convince people they are not just UKIP #2

Isn’t it probably because Russia were pretty influential in the Leave campaign (this natural bedfellows of the Brexit Party) and Russia are generally allies of Iran?

berlinbabylon · 19/09/2019 19:09

Possibly but more likely that she's not "properly" British.

frumpety · 19/09/2019 19:09

Where and when was this ?

Mistigri · 19/09/2019 19:10

I wondered if it's because some of the bigger BXP wigs like Farage and Tice are bunking off work, so their colleagues abstained in a block to make their absence less obvious Hmm

European Parliament today.

Why don’t you just email you MEP and ask? Your snide comment about Brexit leavers is unnecessary as they won’t know if the papers haven’t said will they? Just as we don’t know why all those remainer MPs won’t explain why they feel they should overrule a democratic vote

Omgnamechange · 19/09/2019 19:24

The apathy seems to be reflected in the lack of responses on this thread also.

Marcipex · 19/09/2019 19:28

Bloody hell, the bastards.

The BXP supporters i know are fairly relaxed about casual racism, so i expect their MEPs are too, either that or too thick to know Nazerin Radcliffe isn't a ISIS bride.

Though to be honest, Tehran is hardly going to be bothered about what the EU parliament does.

frumpety · 19/09/2019 19:43

ChloemolI just don't understand how it would effect the Brexit parties aim , which is I have always presumed to leave the EU, to abstain on vote to help a mother trapped in a jail in Iran, its a complete non issue as regards Brexit surely ?

frumpety · 19/09/2019 19:46

Or are they following a pattern of abstaining on all votes ?

dirtyrottenscoundrel · 19/09/2019 19:47

Can’t find anything about this on my BBC news app. They obviously think it’s not particularly news worthy.

Cittadina · 19/09/2019 19:49

@Chloemol no snide comment form me but just an open scream: you racist twats. History will catch up on you.

Kyvia · 19/09/2019 19:52

This is what I’m wondering, have they voted on anything? Is it not the same as Sinn Fein MPs boycotting Westminster, everyone pretty much accepts that?

SauvignonBlanche · 19/09/2019 19:54

Because they’re cunts? Hmm

FuckeryOmbudsman · 19/09/2019 20:01

I thought they abstained on every vote

MoggyP · 19/09/2019 20:03

That's what I thought.

But there will always be those who cherry-pick to create a different narrative.

PhilipJennings · 19/09/2019 20:05

Sinn Féin MPs don't claim the salary or attend parliament though.

It's a very expensive protest vote from the BXP MEPs, which feels hypocritical.

KennDodd · 19/09/2019 20:08

Do you think they abstained on the vote about giving the UK an A50 extension?
