Mistigri doesn't think that the UK grows any fruit during the autumn and winter months, but we do.
Autumn, sure (you're obviously not a gardener! Autumn is the season of mists and mellow fruitfulness, remember?).
Winter? Apples from storage. Possibly a small volume of kiwi fruits in the southernmost parts of the U.K. What else? You can't grow citrus fruits in the U.K., and they are the main seasonal winter fruit in Europe.
Then a big gap until the first cherries and soft fruits in around May/June.
