If all leavers take that stance, the two sides have no hope of ever understanding one another and remainer / leaver divisions continue indefinitely in the UK.
If there are really Brexit benefits, why can't they be clearly and simply stated IRL or online? If it can't be done, it's fine to admit that too.
In most areas of life we're allowed to be as sketchy or irrational as we like about our views within the bounds of the law. We don't have to justify all our opinions with reams of evidence and research and will often fall down and make fools of ourselves if we try.
I hate beetroot but don't have to assemble a body of backing research before this becomes a valid opinion. There's no requirement to pretend that strong evidence has demonstrated X, Y and Z about beetroot. Even though I know it's full of nutrients, good value for money and already sitting on the shelf in every supermarket, I still can't stand it and won't buy it.
Is EU membership just the beetroot of many Leavers?
