I mean come on here, first aid kits, matches, sleeping bags? Surely our duvets aren't going to combust? It's beyond ridiculous and I think it's targeting the simple and easily led. If there's going to be a shortage, it won't be in long life milk or even fresh milk.
If people panic buy the shops empty. Completely. Regardless of if the UK produces enough of it or not.
Sleeping bags and hot water bottles - I've only seen one mention of those and it's somebody just not getting rid of what they've already got, and they explained why - fuel could get expensive. Exactly how is just delaying getting rid of a thing you might find useful for a bit longer, ridiculous
Everybody has said that if (hopefully) there's nothing doing, then they'll just use up the stuff, no worries.
37.1 million people in imminent danger of either starving to death or suffering from malnutrition.
And people are proud of hoarding food
Cool. So tell me how not "hoarding food" bit by bit in the UK (that will be used over the next few month regardless) will help those 37.1m people. Because on the contrary, I can tell you a lot of people "hoarding" are planning to donate some of their stash to foodbanks if they're not needed, which will directly help people who are in food poverty.
