Brexit predictions: will it be TM's deal, no deal, second referendum or just stay in?

There's just two months and 20 days to go until the United Kingdom leaves the EU - but there's a lot of water to go under the bridge before that happens.

I know it's impossible to say for sure, but what do you predict the outcome of this whole fiasco will be?

Will Theresa May get her deal through parliament? Will we crash out with no deal? Will there be a second referendum? Will the government manage to extend Article 50 and the negotiating period somehow? Will the government just call the whole thing off? Or will there be a general election before March 29th and if so, which party do you think would win and what will that mean for Brexit?

I'd love to hear what everybody thinks.

I don't think I'd bother voting again if Brexit is not delivered in one form or another

What’s if there’s a people’s vote to clarify what the country actually wants (no deal, withdrawal agreement or no Brexit). Will you vote in that?

DarienGap
Which are the highlights that attracted you to vote leave?
Failing economy?*
Mass job losses?
Immigration totals to remain largely the same but from different countries?
Social unrest?*
Reduced citizens rights?
Blue passport cover?
Increased 'red tape' making it harder and more expensive for the UK to trade abroad?

*these have already started.

Dariengap are you happy with things as they stand now?

bellinisurge · 12/01/2019 13:38

What form of Brexit are you prepared to accept because it's WA or No Deal. No Deal will not get through the House of Commons so it's WA.
Happy with that?

Dongdingdong · 12/01/2019 16:46

No Deal will not get through the House of Commons so it's WA. Happy with that?

It’s irrelevant whether it’ll get through the House of Commons though isn’t it Bellini? It’s just what will happen if nothing else is sorted by March 29th!

But I am less unconfident than I was that MPs will pass what legislation is necessary to stop No Deal. There is already cross party action by more centrist MPs such as the Cooper Amendment. I don't know enough about parliamentary procedure to see how it can be done but I am pretty sure it can.
Tbh, I think TM would, in the national interest, Revoke and take the consequences rather than flush us down a No Deal toilet.
