Just that really, and although MN doesn't represent the whole of the country, how many REMAINERS would now vote LEAVE? And how many LEAVERS would now vote REMAIN?

OP posts:
n0ne · 26/06/2016 14:55

Remain and still would

Frazzled2207 · 26/06/2016 14:56

Remain-remain
Duke you're right it would be undemocratic to re-run the referendum but I do think parliament need to know how annoyed so many people are.
I think the possibility of a snap general election and a "remain" party winning is the only way out of this mess. Even BoJo doesn't really want brexit.

captainfarrell · 26/06/2016 14:57

Some voted remain because they were scared of the short term although in their heart they really wanted an independent future.

jellybeans · 26/06/2016 14:58

Remain and would again. I wouldn't let myself be misled by farage etc

Nivea101 · 26/06/2016 15:04

Leave, no regrets and would do it again to get all the greedy pig noses out of the EU trough. Don't forget we now have food banks in this country, something I never thought I would see in my lifetime.

Just check out Neil and Glenys Kinnock for an example. Disgusting.

*"Not so long ago, Neil and Glenys were arch critics of Europe. Not any more - now Lord and Lady Kinnock have more reason than most to thank the Euro dream because, in one way or another, the entire family is being financially supported by it.

While Baron Kinnock, 63 - who repeatedly criticised the House of Lords before accepting a peerage - is no longer an EU commissioner, he still enjoys the lavish fringe benefits.

His retirement package, which kicked in two years ago, will pay him more than £270,000 over three years. Then, at 65, he will be eligible for a £63,900-a-year EU pension.

As an MEP, Glenys earns £57,000 a year and can claim around £100,000 in expenses"*

^^ above was copied from a website and I tried to do the bold * thing but it didn't work, apologies.

WaspsandBeesSting · 26/06/2016 15:10

I do think parliament need to know how annoyed so many people are.

They haven't listened to people genuine concerns for many many years.

That's part of the problem.

The EU knew a ref was coming, they know there are several other member states where a ref is likely. Why did they not negotiate. It will all implode, there will be no EU or it will be greatly diminished and I will be glad we got out when we could.

Crusoe · 26/06/2016 15:34

No change I would stay with remain

almondpudding · 26/06/2016 15:45

I decided not to vote, but having seen what has happened, I would now vote leave.

howabout · 26/06/2016 15:47

The referendum cannot be rerun on the same terms because the EU have already withdrawn the renegotiation and started the process of excluding the UK.

No change in my position but quite glad GO was lying about the punishment budget and DC was lying about staying on regardless.

RufusTheReindeer · 26/06/2016 15:55

Remain and remain

OneFlewOverTheDodosNest · 26/06/2016 15:56

I voted leave, had some serious regrexit on Friday morning (and am probably one of those idiots people are talking about) but would still vote leave again if it came to it.

A remain vote was not for the status quo - if that had been the outcome Junker would forcing us to ever closer political and economic integration and I just don't think it's possible to unite 28 vastly different economies.

jellybeans · 26/06/2016 17:20

Baffled by blaming food banks on the EU.

This is from the austerity of the Tory party. Sadly some people keep.voting them in. People are nastier and more divided now that they are fighting over the scraps. I forever heard people vote tories to punish people on benefits etc

littledrummergirl · 26/06/2016 17:33

Leave and leave every day of the week.

LAlady · 26/06/2016 17:58

Remain and remain.

wobblebum · 26/06/2016 18:16

Leave and would do it again

Having a second referendum wouldn't change my opinion - do I have concerns for the future, of course, but not as many as if we stayed in the EU

JPinkertonSnoopington · 26/06/2016 18:21

I voted Remain, and still would. In spite of being 62 years old, therefore an old gimmer, old bag and other choice epithets that I have seen on here.

jellybeans I wasn't blaming foodbanks on the EU but the shocking out of control Eurofatcats skimming all the cream from whilst we have foodbanks in the UK. There is something quite out of balance there.

I am not a political animal but I did a lot of research for this most important vote and had no idea that the EU parliament in Brussels packs up for 4 days per month and heads off to Strasbourg. Over 5000 people and all their kit. 4 days per month Angry Now imagine you were doing that in your job. So you take a day to pack all your office up into boxes, then it's trucked to France, so then it takes a day to unpack all the boxes, then on day 4 you do it all again in reverse and back to Brussels you go. And every time there is a vote to stop this ludicrous waste of money France block it because they don't want local businesses to lose money.

I don't watch the news like the BBC or Sky, I don't buy newspapers and until the past few days hadn't even seen the "infamous" red bus of Mr Farage or the poster he got rid of.

You couldn't make it up, the appalling and absolute waste of money.

FiveGoMadInDorset · 26/06/2016 18:53

Remain, remain and would work harder on DH to got remain

Marynary · 26/06/2016 19:02

My vote (remain) would be the same. I doubt that anyone is going to say they have changed their minds at this point as, apart from the fact people will probably never admit they were wrong, the consequences of leaving are not apparent yet. The leave voters still think we can have our cake and eat it i.e. pick and choose what we want from the EU.
