Seriously? majority of people who voted for leave wanted control of our borders, we brought into your story of an Australian style point system now it seems there's still going be freedom of labour movement which is basically the same thing expect they get less legal rights.

I didn't just vote leave for immigration but yes it was a big reason and if I known this, if remain had a better hammered this home I bet MANY leave voters would not have voted the way they did. If anything if this happens, many leave voters will join the remain voters in rage at the lies we been fed. (NHS, Immigration)

I have been a vocal leave supporter on here but now I am feeling pretty scared about what I have voted for. I blame the remain campaign for having an totally shit and ineffective campaign and Cameron should never have been the leader of the remain camp, as majority of people despise him and don't take any notice of what he says.

yes, if we go Iceland/Norway/Lichtenstein then freedom of movement is unaffected. So why are the Remainers screaming about it so much?

Nothing is guaranteed. The UK does not know what terms it will be able to get.

These countries must pay millions of Euros into the EU to get their trade deals and free movement but get no say in EU laws

gonetoseeamanaboutadog · 25/06/2016 20:01

alsochocs The EU have made it very clear that they are not going to allow this Leave vote to put them on the back foot. In fact, we've already 'lost' the special (and actually not bad) terms Cameron had negotiated for us - they've been declared 'void'.

I agree that Boris looks worried though. If he's PM through this process, he's really shot himself in the foot.

GiddyGiddyGoat · 25/06/2016 20:02

How have I 'abused' you Happy?

Tanith · 25/06/2016 20:02

He's been playing cricket, MrsJorah! He prioritises the serious stuff, don't you know?

Bet some of those balls were mighty fast and hard Wink

MitzyLeFrouf · 25/06/2016 20:03

'Op you were one of the most proliferous posters on this and you DIDN'T even research it? Wtf!'

It's real head in hands stuff isn't it, to think a passionate supporter of Leave does their research after the vote has taken place.

bakeoffcake · 25/06/2016 20:03

MrsJorah "THE EU ARE GOING TO FUCKING NAIL OUR BALLS TO THE WALL."

This ^^ 100%

I think Boris is shitting himself.
Yes, I don't think he ever considered that Leave would win. Was probably banking on Cameron resigning because of all the rifts in the Tory party caused by the campaign so he could be PM.
The prospect of being in charge isn't so appealing now, with the huge task of managing the exit strategy.

LineyReborn · 25/06/2016 20:07

I've reported the goadyfucker btw.

happyandsingle · 25/06/2016 20:07

I was commenting on a thread where someone claimed leave voters were cunts-not really sure why you stepped in but I was referring to this if you read the post correctly.

Losing the special terms which Cameron negotiated for us, does seem to be jumping the gun a little. So far, we have had a non-binding referendum. I can see that once we had invoked Article 50 that would be legitimate, but not just yet. Similarly stripping our Commissioner of an important Finance portfolio - a Commissioner who has now resigned.

At present, this doesn't look to me like an organisation which is going to bend over backwards to accommodate us.

GiddyGiddyGoat · 25/06/2016 20:10

Every time you post Happy my opinion of you is lowered - and it didn't start of very high tbh.
Your post said that I had called you a cunt - which I hadn't - and called me a 'fucking vile woman". Nice.

Boris is shitting himself. You can tell in his 'victory speech'. Why isn't he rushing through the article 50? It was the most important thing ever while he was on his big red fuck bus of lies.

MitzyLeFrouf · 25/06/2016 20:11

'Cunt' is a bit of a foreigner, a Germanic word I think, but has been in use in England since the 14th century or thereabouts so hopefully it will be considered indigenous enough to be allowed stay in our Brave New UK.

SeekEveryEveryKnownHidingPlace · 25/06/2016 20:11

Lecturing on language while using 'your' instead of 'you're' [Grin

Quiero · 25/06/2016 20:12

From feeling so desperately gutted yesterday, I'm quite optimistic today. I think something utterly outrageous is going to happen. Not sure what exactly but something smells very, very off about this whole thing. And hopefully the ultimate outcome is the demise of the Tory's.

twofingerstoGideon · 25/06/2016 20:12

Not only was the OP very vociferous in her support of LEAVE, she also said some shocking things on the thread about Jo Cox. Her eagerness to comment in a context that sought to bolster her (OP's) pro-exit stance was shocking. She 'regretted' her comments later, so clearly has history of not engaging brain before taking action.
In fact, her posting history over the last month (or even just today) is well worth a look.
I'm afraid I can't summon up a shred of sympathy for her 'regrets' now.

specialsubject · 25/06/2016 20:12

"At present, this doesn't look to me like an organisation which is going to bend over backwards to accommodate us."

and it did before? Cameron's 'deal' (which is now cancelled) was very minimal. The EU told us 'take it or piss off'.

so we've done the latter.

happyandsingle · 25/06/2016 20:12

I referred to another post not you for fucks sake

LittleBearPad · 25/06/2016 20:13

I'm actually stunned OP. You utter muppet.

GiddyGiddyGoat · 25/06/2016 20:14

Happy, I'm afraid you are mistaken (again). No one has called you a goody. Honestly.
