or the idiotic voting public who don't know what's good for them IMHO.

Aren't you delightful!

OrangesandLemonsNow · 24/05/2016 10:02

I can't be arsed to argue with people who have made their minds up and are using 'concerns about infrastructure' as a cover for racism.

I can't be arsed with people who are rude.

TheFairyCaravan · 24/05/2016 10:03

I completely agree with Redtoothbrush.

I'm so sick of the referendum. It doesn't matter what's happening in this country some twat will pipe up "that's cause we're in the EU, vote OUT!" (And why the fuck do they always need to put out in capitals?) It could rain silver coins this afternoon and someone would still say it.

I'm sick of seeing Boris Johnson on my tele everyday. He doesn't care if we're in or out, he's just got his eyes on no 10. How great will that be? Johnson, Putin and Trump in a room as world leaders? I hope the world is stopped because I'm getting off!

'Idiotic voting public' Does that include yourself

Clearly not, I said twice I was voting in Grin

That's exactly why I avoid these threads, because the leavers pile on. It just makes MN seem like a daily mail comments section. ✌🏽

CoolforKittyCats · 24/05/2016 10:12

I'm sick of both sides of the campaign.

Threatening WW3 if we leave, terrorism if we stay.

It is all nonsense.

Truth is no one knows either way. No one can say what the EU will be like in 10 years, nor what life will be like if we leave.

It is all completely negative campaigning both ways.

You are the person throwing insults around.

People have reasons for the way they are voting. Just because others may not agree with you it doesn't make you any more 'right' than anyone else. It certainly doesn't make people 'idiotic'!

Hygellig · 24/05/2016 10:16

Almost definitely In.
DH will vote Out so we will cancel each other out.

So tired of this accusation ^

Voting Leave doesn't mean I'm racist any more than voting Remain means you're not racist.

To me it's about whether we want Britain's destiny decided democratically in the UK - or in Brussels where we only have a one-twenty eighth share of the vote.

I'm flabberghasted at a previous poster describing Mumsnet as left-leaning. It's not even vaguely lefty. I'd describe it as definitely right of centre, if not overtly right wing.

CoolforKittyCats · 24/05/2016 10:19

DH will vote Out so we will cancel each other out

I know quite a few people where this will happen.

You are on a different Mumsnet to me then Pingu. MN is left wing - research the threads before the last General election. Not a conservative fan in sight - well maybe one in a hundred.

Salene · 24/05/2016 10:21

I'm voting leave and it's nothing to do with immigration

I'm voting leave because the EU has destroyed the fishing industry thus leaving a local town to me in disrepair.

Politics in the UK needs a good dose of problem solving and positive agendas rather than current culture of blame.

If its not The EU, its Immigrants, the Muslims, the Jews, the Christian establishment, the Royal Family, the Daily Mail, the Labour Party, the Liberal Democrats, the Conservatives, the Elite, Google, Starbucks, workshy working class, single mothers, fraudulent disabled, greedy babyboomers.

Yet NO ONE will just say, all that doesn't matter. It just matters how we solve the problem of housing or health care. NO ONE wants to take on responsibility without first passing the buck to someone else.

This is what the public is really screaming out for. This is what people really would like.

Positive politics.
