Possible hostel stay.

I'm being made homeless as owner wants the property back. But I'm really hoping I can get into a private rented before that happens. But it seems impossible as I can't find anywhere that will take dss. But fingers crossed I find somewhere.

If I do go to a hostel what do I take with me. I'm thinking clothes and kids toys and the kids gadgets. A seat for baby. I'm not sure if I should take double buggy or single and use a sling. Once my stuff is in storage I won't be able to excess it. So need to make sure I have all I need.

Council, HA ? The council may know of private ll who will accept HB. Could bf help with deposit or rent in advance?

Council are looking they have private landlords they work with but it's weather a place comes up or not. And I'm looking myself as well. There's no probs with the deposit and advanced rent. It's more they won't take dss or need a grantor.

If you get hostel I suspect it won't include your eldest. Are you prepared for that? Can you use self storage so you can collect stuff you need.

The council told me it will include her as she is part of the house hold. Hoping won't go hostel though but preparing incase.

I did find one place that will take dss but they said they want council to put in writing when the tenancy comes to an end that the council will not tell the tenant to stay and await bailife. I don't think council will sign that because that's what the council do anyway

No idea how long. So year have to pack quite a bit incase. Got someone who will have the cat. And possibly for the dog but not sure. Feel really sad about the dog

Yeah I just keep looking. Peed me of becauseach agency said it was due to rent problems said I could stay if sorted. Sorted tha. And then said I have to leave anyway as owner wants house back ff.

What is your BF doing about this situation? He's happy to sit back and let his very very young DC and the mother of his DC move into a hostel while he sits comfortably in his own place and enjoys his wages from his job?

Please let this be the realisation you need that you should expect better.

I know someone who had 5 kids she was in a hostel. It had own living room bedroom and own bathroom and kitchen. She used living room as a bedroom. But her kids were different ages to mine so not sure ito workso maybecity does not matter in this situation

he said he would help with deposit and stuff. but i cant find anywhere that will take part dss. he said he would be grantore as well. 1 he did not pass the credit check. the other they said he has to earn over 52 grand

whats llrc mean? moving out of london is last resort. i cant do that to my kids. my mum done it to me and it proper messed me up. its more the 13 and 19 year old im worried about.

yummy im not sure if thats true now... my neighbour is a ss worker and she said they had to send a family to Birmingham to a hostel.

flogging he does not have his own place now. tenency ended.

What do you want anyone to say flogging? It's been well established he's a waste, unpleasant, blah blah, but ghost isn't going to leave him, and he's not going to change.

So I just honestly, genuinely, don't see what there is to be gained by round 16000000 of establishing that when she's about to be made homeless with pets and kids, I'm not trying to be contentious, but I really don't.

im not sure if flogging meant it that way. i think maybe she was just looking for ways of avoiding a hostel situation. least that was how i took it anyway

so do i... can only do what im doing really just keep looking and hope something comes up... people keep telling me that the council are fobbing me of and if i sit tight stay a little while in a hostel i will get social housing. but i dont think its worth the risk. so i will keep looking for private
