Anyone waiting on results for a post 16 place?

Hi apparently a few can get a spot depending on where they are on the reserve list Brit won’t say where you are on the list so pot luck really but still amazing to get reserve considering how many apply regarding appealing best thing to do is go onto the Brit school and read there appeals section states everything there the grounds are quite difficult I’m not appealing just going to keep fingers crossed and hopefully a place might happen otherwise dd is still happy with going London college of performing arts

My DD is also accepted for LCPA. She actually really loved it when she went.
Thanks for info. I called Brit to ask about appeal and they said it is really for if you think the process wasn't followed fairly. So we won't be appealing either.

Hi - Good luck to everyone!

My DD has had a call back for Musical Theatre post 16 after first workshops in December. She does not go until 20th Feb. Anyone on here who has another workshop / audition still to come?

Someone above mentioned an audition in Jan for MT - is that for Musical Theatre ? Were your DC called back earlier? Is there must be more than one lot of dates for audition call back?

Good morning @ABPMum my son is also on the reserve for musical theatre but we are OOA so no chance 😫 Just wondering if your DD has got a place yet? Also do you know the date you received the invite to the second audition on 20th February. My son was given under 2 weeks to prepare and it is too late to appeal but want to help him understand how well he did to get this far. He’s still really disappointed 😢

No offer of a place I'm sad to say, but not sure if things have chnaged for anyone at this point. I was assuming it would likely be around results day in August? But I may call again to see if there has been any movement. it does say on the reserve email that it can happen any time : ) Best of luck. It is so competative, he has done so well to get this far.

Oh that’s interesting, I may call them to ask about it. Were you given the stage 2 audition date and what your DD needed to prepare on 16th Jan too or was that at a later date? I assumed we would hear as people drop out but maybe it will all be nearer the start of term. Fingers crossed for all the reserves - so close yet so far!
