Anyone waiting on results for a post 16 place?

My child is headed to The Rhythm Studio https://www.therhythmstudio.co.uk/ in Sept. It's in Hammersmith.

My daughter's was 24/02 and I'm getting tetchy :D. I just googled and this came up, so I'll sit and wait with you for results! Good luck!

Hiya! Same we had fmp on 25th! Nothing as yet but was told it was two weeks by my kid but wondering if they misheard

year 10 fmp? My son had his interveiw/workshop the 25th too, but they said to my husband 3-4 weeks. The school are on holidays at the moment - they go back Monday, so I'm assuming we won't hear anything till next week and trying to be patient, though easier said than done!

Yes for MT when I asked on the desk when you would expect to hear back they said that the auditions were finishing on the 27th and it would be around 2 weeks after that, but I think that was a bit of an unofficial answer! 🙂

My daughter has applied for post 16 musical
theatre, had our second round of auditions 3 weeks ago now. I called last week and the lady at the desk said it will be at least another 2 weeks before we hear the outcome so end of next week at the earliest apparently. Such a long hard process for all involved!
anyone for post 16 heard yet?

My DD is post 16 application and workshop/interview a month ago - have not heard anything yet! 🙄

Dd Audition/interview was on the 23/02 Still waiting to hear about post 16 theatre strand has anyone had a email yet??? The wait is killing me will be 4 weeks Monday coming was hoping we will hear this week ahhhhhhhh lol

Last year, theatre strand found out around 24th March (so next week). As Brit do not have a 2 week Easter break, could be any time from next week I would assume. Waiting for my eldest son.

I have a feeling we won't hear anything until next week. From what I have seen on previous years (except last year when they heard three weeks after the workshops for MT) they will usually take the 4 weeks and even a bit longer to get back with a decision. They have two weeks half term after the auditions and so this week is their first week back. They told my daughter on her workshop (25.02 - KS4 MT) that they will have news in two weeks, but we are already in week 3 and no news so I'm just going with what their admissions booklet says :) We know other kids applying for Music, Dance and Graphic Design and they haven't hear either so I guess we sit tight a wait. I think my daughter at this point just wants to know so she can move on, which I totally get.

Thanks least I can stop thinking they might email today or tomorrow and wait till next week I need to train my patience 😂

Music have def heard already (at least those rejected). The email with rejection came through late Feb (audition 1st week of Jan)

have they? Well, it may be good news for my daughter’s friend then. Juts for clarity I’m referring to KS4 and not post 16

Still waiting (impatiently!) for post 16 production arts. So hoping my DD won't be disappointed as she has really got her hopes up.

I've decided it will be on the Friday before Easter so that they don't have to deal with any questions following all the emails going out 😂

Brit are not closed for Easter holidays, only off the bank holidays, so no way for them to avoid our calls.

The music auditions for KS4 were end of Feb . My daughter has Still not heard back yet . Hopefully tomorrow or next week !

So I called the school today and they said that we should hear either today or next week. This refers to KS4 MT.
At this point I feel we just want to know so we can all move on 😬

We just heard from Brit MT post 16 - daughter didn't get in :(. She has a place at Boden's, and weirdly preferred it there, so she's still happy thankfully! Good luck to everyone else.

The emails have gone out for all. Against all expectations, my son got into Theatre strand (we are in catchment) post-16. I hope all who follow this thread have heard and there is some positive news for some.
