how was your child’s experience at the workshop ?

The singing part seemed fine but not sure about the ear training and interview .She spoke very fast as was nervous .I’m very much what is meant to be is meant to be and if no luck she will try again for 6th form .

Congrats to any of those that have been offered a space - you must be so so excited! Does anybody know anything more about why there is such a delay to hearing back on KS4 dance as per the email saying decisions will be 20-23rd April? My daughter had her workshop and interview nearly a month ago now.

My dd got a reserve spot post 16 theatre so looks like she will be attending London college of performing arts well done to everyone who secured a place

My DD also got a reserve, @Britobsession Do you think this is very unlikley they might get a spot then? I have heard of poeple getting in from reserve.

Does anyone know about the appeal process and whether it is expected for you to appeal? Thanks - all v new to us : )

Hi apparently a few can get a spot depending on where they are on the reserve list Brit won’t say where you are on the list so pot luck really but still amazing to get reserve considering how many apply regarding appealing best thing to do is go onto the Brit school and read there appeals section states everything there the grounds are quite difficult I’m not appealing just going to keep fingers crossed and hopefully a place might happen otherwise dd is still happy with going London college of performing arts

I also think we might hear more after the 14 days are up for people to accept there places some might go to other colleges etc and spaces might happen after that. ppl are known to get a call in august right up till the 3rd week in September so it’s definitely a long waiting game. But from what I have read there are usually around 10 on a reserve list so anything can happen

Hi, anyone for digital arts (Post 16)? Have you received the result?

I was told today that they'll be sending more offers tomorrow at 5pm. We're also OOA ks4 music and had our audition 4 weeks ago today x

@DreamBigSol yes ages!:) DD sings, I wonder if they sent some offers already. Anyways we did our best I’m I’m sure you did too not long hopefully x

My DD applied for DA and her interview was last week Tuesday. Have not heard anything yet. PS: So nice to see someone who applied to DA post 16! :)

Same here, so good to e-meet you. My daughter had her interview last Wednesday. They did say 4 weeks, but with everyone getting responses, I was wondering. Plus, the waiting is excruciating.

Yes, my DD was told 3-4 weeks, byt KS4 DA applicant have received their offers last Friday. Just wonder how long was your interview? Ours was just 15 minutes!
