Anyone waiting on results for a post 16 place?

Yup, waiting here - daughter applied for yr 12 music. She is already there but on a different strand at the moment so she's sort of somewhere between being an internal applicant and an external applicant. She had her audition back in December just before they broke up.

The wait is so hard! My daughter did dance in Dec and then had an interview early Jan. I was really hoping to hear by now. We are out of catchment so I think very little chance but still anxious…..

We are still waiting too - daughter applied for MS, had audition on 9th Jan, haven't heard anything since..

On my app today it has popped up with the details to appeal so I guess it’s a no for us sadly.

It’s tricky, I feel like we are still in limbo! I know someone from out of catchment would have to drop out and that’s a slimmer possibility. She had the audition in December then then meeting on 5th Jan, so possibly they did Dance today and they others next week.

Also waiting - very hard wait - Son had an audition on 9 Jan for MT post 16. I am expecting to hear next Friday - going by last year anyhow as a friend heard on that day. Fingers crossed to you all. We don't have a plan B yet as my son is pinning all his hopes on this working out.

Do you think they email the applicants directly or parents included too in the email decision?

If you've given your email then I assume yes? The same as with the invite for auditions?

My DD has had a call back for Musical Theatre post 16 after first workshops in December. She does not go until 20th Feb. Anyone on here who has another workshop / audition still to come?

Someone above mentioned an audition in Jan for MT - is that for Musical Theatre ? Were your DC called back earlier? Is there must be more than one lot of dates for audition call back?

I did the same somehow! Meant to write MS (Music Strand) not mt. We are in the same boat - still waiting too! Was hoping for an answer today as they say within weeks..

It's painful now! My DS is struggling with the wait.

No we are in London so within catchment. Struggling with the wait too, especially as I hear the current Brit students already got their offers.. 😞Eee nothing to do but wait right?

Such a loooooong wait - I spoke to a friend who's DS was offered Music (last year) they heard on Wed 12 Feb 2025 - so I'm really hoping we will find out by next Friday at the latest - surely?....Best of luck to all our DC
