Teachers - what do you want parents to know but can’t say to them about their kids?

Saw a post elsewhere on social media asking this but am interested in what UK teachers really want parents to know but cannot say to them - for example, wash their coat. The teacher see’s them wiping snot on it all day.

Might help some give some parents some tips as well :)

Haha - the first time failing with an Oxbridge offer was me. Everything just came so easily to me until then!

Funnily enough, my son does have an agent, although not had any jobs yet. He's only 4 though.

I've always thought that must be so incredibly hard.

And good luck with the agent. The MT years are soooo much fun. DH refused to accompany after a harrowing Sound of Music weekend where he came home and said he'd spent hours 'watching young hearts break'... he used to just have a large G&T waiting for me when I got through the door!

My mother thought it was terrible because it was so upsetting and I shouldn't put her through it (good luck telling DD that), but when I look at all the kids I know from those days - all older teens now - they really are incredibly good at just taking what comes their way.

Sometimes I wish DD was just a little bit more bothered if she fails chemistry tests though...
