EPQ - DD17 did not apply need good news stories!

Hi,
Daughter forgot to press the right buttons and now hadn't been accepted into the EpQ.

As she didn't apply.

So I need good news stories please - did yours do well in A levels anyway?

She wants to go to Leeds or a Russel group.

Good news stories please!

I'm stressing now that she's missed out on a great opportunity and also that she's made her A levels more stressful!

Help!

EPQs are fabulous to talk about at interviews and also great for Degree Apprenticeship applications. My son did his presentation on his EPQ and it helped greatly. They are also useful UCAS points if your desired uni uses that tariff, or sometimes a great reduction.

Only a minority of unis and courses interview, so that's not going to matter one way or the other for many.
My DDs did all interview but I don't think they asked her anything about her EPQ even though it was very subject-relevant.
