Just thought to start an active thread to support one another on the 11+ journey. Some results are out this week. How are you feeling? Any plans on how to communicate outcomes with DC?

Oh really, I was expecting to wait until the 25th for WUS results

It might well happen that we have to wait until 25th for results but there is a good chance that they might come out tomorrow

LJham · 14/02/2025 07:15

Fingers crossed they come today!

LJham · 14/02/2025 07:16

Feeling very anxious now

vjceqgub · 14/02/2025 08:14

Good luck to everyone. We're waiting for City today...

Hatcher · 14/02/2025 09:16

CLS results last year started to arrive around 9:30.

DagaDiga · 14/02/2025 09:18

City is a yes for us, so relieved 😀

City is a yes for us, so relieved 😀

Congratulations.
We got a yes from Highgate. Waiting for CLS also.

WiseGreenBee · 14/02/2025 10:17

It was a yes for us from St Paul’s and CLS. So relieved and so happy for him! Now just the long wait for Westminster!

LJham · 14/02/2025 12:12

Congratulations, wonderful news! 🎉

It’s a yes for us from City, HABs, MTS & St. Albans. Can’t wait for our son to get home from school so we can share the good news!

WiseGreenBee · 14/02/2025 15:03

Apparently not that long a wait for Westminster Under. They sent out their offers today as well and it was another yes for us!

vjceqgub · 14/02/2025 15:32

We've got reservelisted in CLS. Any hope?

LJham · 14/02/2025 15:33

A huge congratulations, that’s wonderful! It was a no for us from Westminster

DagaDiga · 14/02/2025 17:03

We got a yes from WUS too, I am in tears. @vjceqgub, there will be lot of movement on CLS waitlist for sure, especially after National offer day... there are couple of DCs that I know of who have CLSB offers but are awaiting final outcomes on QE and Wilson's, we too got an offer from CLSB and I would want to release it straightaway but my wife and DS want to go to their offer holders day to be 100% sure.. @LJham, sorry to hear about WUS but we all know how hard our DSs have worked to be in top 60(such a huge achievement to be proud of) , and this outcome doesn’t take away from their talent and potential. Also that you have offers from other great schools.. Wish you good luck

LJham · 14/02/2025 18:26

That’s wonderful, I’m so pleased for your son and the whole family! I hope there’s lots of celebrating this evening 🎉
Thank you for your kind words ❤️

vjceqgub · 14/02/2025 19:04

@DagaDiga
Massive congratulations to your son and you. It should be such a relief, I think.
Also, I appreciate your warm and kind message.
Good luck to everyone!

Our top 2 choices are St Paul's and KCS Wimbledon. We wanted to go to the offer holders morning before we make the final decision. However in a dilemma now as both schools have their offer holders morning on the same day which is 26th of Feb.
Does anyone know if we can request from either school for an alternative day or time such as in the afternoon?. Appreciate any feedback.

LuckStruck · 26/02/2025 12:31

Hi everyone, congrats to everyone on the offers.
We have offers from Westminster and St Paul’s. I am wondering people in the same position as us, whether you decided to take WUS/WM or SPJ/SPS? We are torn but very much leaning toward St Paul’s. Thanks

DagaDiga · 26/02/2025 12:35

We don't have an offer from SPS but we do have from WUS, CLS and LU. We have already accepted WUS

LuckStruck · 26/02/2025 12:40

Thanks for replying. Many Congrats. It is wonderful to have a clear top choice. Did you apply to SPS? What were your thoughts.

DagaDiga · 26/02/2025 13:31

We didn’t receive an offer from SPS, but Westminster Under was an easy choice for several reasons. The biggest factor was the commute—at around 40-45 minutes, it was much more manageable than other options.
More importantly, WUS was my DS’s first choice. He loved the school’s intimate and liberal feel(he said the existing pupils were very chatty and less orderly during break times, which he loved) and really enjoyed the interview process, where he said, was both challenged and engaged. He also loved Vincent Square, the school’s fantastic green space right outside, and was excited about the opportunity to try a variety of sports like ping pong, cricket, tennis etc.
Overall, we as parents also thought it is best fit for him!

vjceqgub · 03/05/2025 10:11

I'm wondering someone hear movements among them. We're waiting for CJS but haven't got any email yet.
