hi everyone, i wanted to start a new thread with a NEW topic heading here, as the active one at the moment with over 700 posts looks like it is all about the Cambridge school. This may confuse newcomers.

Let's continue the debate here !
All newcomers welcome !

I will shortly link our two previous threads on MN for any one new to have a look at.

Davy, could you also give a link to your new yahoo list here please ? Thanks.

northernrefugee39 · 04/03/2008 16:49

Eva/Sune, I've heard that in the past you have continually contacted Peter Staudenmaier's University to try to get them to believe he wasn't a bona fide academic?

Is that true?

Cornell University?

Sweet Jesus!

northernrefugee39 · 04/03/2008 16:50

Cos pigs are really intelligent.

northernrefugee39 · 04/03/2008 16:52

Eva52 · 04/03/2008 17:21

Northernlurker93(?): "Here's Rudolf Steiner's intrduction to anthroposophy ..."

Well, more of a condensed summary in a meditative direction, that he wrote at the end of his life, and not easy to penetrate if you know nothing about anthroposophy.

The best introduction to the subject is probably the Wikipedia article on the subject.

northernrefugee39 · 04/03/2008 17:23

Orgasm! Calm down lush!

northernrefugee39 · 04/03/2008 17:26

Eva sune, wikepedia has been monitored 24 hrs a day, every day of the week by you and your cronies.
You haven't disputed that either, which confirms it.

Wikepedia's version leaves out the racist and occult bollocks.
As well you know.

I don't actually think anyone ids bothering with your links any more.
Lush is talking about orgasms.

Anthroposophy and orgasms aren't really compatible .

northernrefugee39 · 04/03/2008 17:27

Do anthros know about chemically grown orgasms?
Bio dynamic ones
Cosmic

lush007 · 04/03/2008 17:29

Actually, I am reading the links and some of the anti ones as well!

lush007 · 04/03/2008 17:31

lush007 · 04/03/2008 17:34

Before I go fugee - What did you mean by this? And, I am genuinely asking you?

It,s from a lecture here

also have to do tea, so can't find exact place.

but he says there will be no need for normal reproduction because man (not woman) will only have to speak to reproduce. Give birth from the larynx.

it was a well known Steiner critic joke, in the future when we're all spirits, there's no need for sex because you only have to talk to drop a baby.

I just found the qlecture the other week.
it talks about why boys voices break too, all to do with prparation for giving birth from the larynx.
In the Bible it says and man spoke forth man or something, and he uses that as a sign of his clairvoyance on the subject.

Honestly lush, I don't know how you can still think Steiner is ok.

I really have a big gap with you about it when you're conversing normally.

How can you?

Steiner at times said things that sound strange and provocative to a present day perspective on things.

At one time, he suggested that cell biology be taught from a "cosmological" perspective in the upper grades at Waldorf schools.

I have tried to penetrate one aspect of this here. An interesting suggestion, though not implemented as far as I know.

StripeyMamaSpanx · 04/03/2008 19:00

I can confirm that the science taught at the school I and my younger siblings attended was the "normal" scientific type.

So much so that one of them got As in his GCSEs in all three sciences.

StripeyMamaSpanx · 04/03/2008 19:01

And yes its a pretty good chip shop - does battered chips.

Think of the cholesterol....

lush007 · 04/03/2008 19:15

As we are now in a short interlude....

Assume this is Christmas day and the Brits & Germans are playing football on no mans land...(shall I play the German?)

Lets post your favourite youtube track of the moment before we commence the onslaught again...

lush007 · 04/03/2008 19:22

northernrefugee39 · 04/03/2008 20:37
