11+ INTERVIEW CITY OF LONDON BOYS. ANYONE WITH INFO??

ds1 has 1/v this week for this highly competitive / selective school... am THRILLED he has got an interview but now desperate for any tips from thiose who have been through this recently. interview is rumoured to be v tough! aaaagh.

I knew we'd talked "education" before, had forgotten it was the tutor. Actually the boy who has the same tutor has applied to City as well. Not sure how he's going on as mum doesn't do much school discussion, but if he and your ds both get in, I'll let you know his name!

ooooh, am v v good at shopping. what will be shopping for? might shoes be involved?.... or maybe some droopy but v expensive toast clothes....

i am excellent at shopping too, & remember from a previous thread we have similar taste in droopy clothes. so it sounds like 2 have fun on upper st to me .

Must confess guiltily that have ordered completely unnecessary but v. glam Rigby & Peller purchase that will arrive tomorrow. But mail order doesn't count, right?

oooh, exciting glam purchase. mail order totally doesn't count. but you can do what i did yesterday & buy an unneccesary handbag as i sent lots of rubbish internet stuff back...

thanks so much frogs and hc for kind words. have entered scarily zen like calm state.... whatever will be will be and all that.... if he doesnt get in it is because it wouldnt be right for him and all that type stuff....

would love you to come shopping with us.
am sure food will definitely feature.... maybe CAKE?

Just remember, most of the people applying have applied for at least 3 or 4 other schools, and they only need ONE place each.

Next week is good, the week after is our half term. Will be a busy week though, workwise, so may have to drop out at short notice.
