Every year I have watched with interest and excitement as all of these types of threads have progressed to offers.

Finally in the same boat. The Christmas prep is wearing...And couldn't find anyone to share the experience with.... hence this attempt to start one....

Anyone else want to join? If I have missed a school... please feel free to still join in and add your school of interest.

Currently burning the night oil trying to find more comprehension material... anyone have any online suggestions?

I do know that a few boys are sitting the exam today for those who couldn't sit the exam last Friday - wonder whether they're waiting for the outcome of those?

Hi all, we got a no letter from trinity for 11+ today so if you did not get a letter you are probably still in the running. The letter talked about a record number of applicants and a very high standard so it does not bode well for Whitgift. My son found the Whit exams far harder than Trinity! Bummer!

Did you expect that your DS would get e.g. is he bright for his class?

It's so hard to know in advance if your son is going to pass and then you don't know how they'll perform on the day.

Hopefully the only rejection Pingput29.

Even mine found T better than W and still no news and now I am getting a feel that he might just receive a no offer letter tomorrow which the day for 10+ no offer letters .. :-(

Ladies just to let you know that we received an invitation to interview and for a music assessment today so please check your emails.
This was for 11plus.
Do check your emails as both came by email.
So pleased for DS as he had a tough time with the Grammars and we had no guarantee of a place.

Now onto the next stage of panic: music assessment next week!

Do you think the W exam was much harder than expected and any practice papers due to new HM raising the bar?

hi anyone had a call from trinity yet re 11 or 13 plus. Both my boys sat the exams and we have not heard anything does not sound good. Anxious wait in case the dreaded letter comes in the post!!!!!

DS and another boy from our school have heard 11+ interview news from W, but apparently they're in the first batch. According to people who did it last year, there's plenty of time, as they will still be emailing people until at least 18 Jan.

We had a 'no' from Hampton this morning though.

Sorry to hear about Hampton DIN2K, but great news on Whit. Good luck and thanks for the words of reassurance. It's gutting getting a rejection isn't it even though you know you are not going to get an offer for all schools DS sits. Am not telling DS anything till the exams are over. Last one this Saturday.
