My ds has just told me his bullet points.

  1. In the winter it will be dark in the early hours of the school day.
2)Lunches are not provided in school, so pupils would not have their lunch till around 2.15.
3)Pupils would have to wake very early to get to school on time.especially the pupils who lived far away , they might have to wake at 5.30 am.

he wrote 4 more points which he too tired to remember now so i've just tucked him up in bed.

Thanks dogwalker, although I was thinking they seem a bit biazare. And I don't know what style he wrote it in, But I don't think he would write it too formal.
Iam shattered myself off to bed, see you all tomorrow for the reading test post mortem

Popsycal - do you have one of your informative links for KS1 SATs?

I'm particularly interested in the practicalities of the tests - how long they are, and how many. DS1 has done 2 formal sit-down tests, and I think that's it for him, and he can relax. (We've hardly mentioned them here, and school have been really laidback too, but he still seems a bit uptight.)

were back from the reading test.
Ds just told me he finished with 5 mins to spare and it was fine. Will ask him more later after hes eaten and flopped on to his x box!

Popsy are you around yet? what did you think of todays test?

Report
dogwalker · 12/05/2004 19:14

Hello Charlize I'm here. Son has said very little about today's test. He said it was OK, quite easy. I don't know if this worries me more than him saying it was hard. DH came home from having been away for 2 nights and has seen the planning sheet from yesterday, doesn't think it was v. good but I did tell him that was not all that ds had written in the actual test. I don't feel too worried about todays test though like I did about yesterdays. However, the coming maths test are his real concern. Fingers crossed.

Will you be making funny posts again Popsy?

And as for funny posts,...i am not as inebriated as last night

Hi dogwalker et all, I've just got back from ds maths class. He attends one evening a week at his own request and he works at level 7 in this subject so Iam not worried about tomorrow.
But Iam worried now that popsy has said todays reading was hard with some nasty questions. With ds saying it was easy Iam thinking he might have misunderstood some of the trickier ones iykwim
Oh well At least it wasn't a poem, He HATES those!
Dogwalker I think your sons bullet points seem fine , He has covered the main points and would have elaborated on those. Are you sure he won't get level 5, I think you might be surprised.

there were some buggers fromthe middle of the test onwards.,....
