Is mine the only child who isn't going back to school till Wednesday?

no, when i went shopping earlier there were school age kids in the shops so not back at school yet.

ds1 started back today though

yes lucycat he's not too worried because he's been at their nursery school all last year. Other people are making him nervous by constantly asking him if he's looking forward to starting "big school"

I thought it was busy in Thornfield park yesterday, explains it if some of the schools aren't back until tomorrow!

Make sure you take lots of photos tomorrow morning, he'll have grown up sooo much by the end of this year!

a friend of mine got a letter today- school roof collapsed, daughter going back OCTOBER

She signs on at Uni next week!

MY DD starts reception on Thursday. I have to take her at 9.50am when we will sit in the headmistresses office to complete paperwork..

I think I am more nevous than DD is. She is really looking forward to it.

Thursday for my dd.. they are going into a brand new building and the teachers are being allowed 3 days to unpack all the stuff from the old buildings. I don't mind the new school is going to be a childrens centre too...
