Over the years I have done flowers, chocolates, candles etc and was wondering if wine (nice wine) is acceptable really?
As my dd is in a unit I have lots to buy for!
Thanks

i got wine last Xmas and was pleased. would have liked to ask the lad who went to Cuba last week to bring me back some rum but somehow thought that was going too far....

Nice wine was always an acceptable present

For me and many other teachers yes, but some are non-drinkers, so good to check first if possible. Also not if they are Muslim..

Yes - wine is great, as long as it is not Blue Nun, Liebfraumilch, Piat d'Or, etc.

Not all muslims are non drinkers though. My friend rarely gets wine because she is muslim and she would prefer that to smellies or chocolates.

Yes please!
