Come join in the Ebay challenge! List items and link to them here. Aiming for £400 by summer hols! Bit optimistic but something to aim for!

Free auction listing today so make the most of it and get listing.

I have taken photos and am going to start adding items to Turbo lister ready to upload tonight.

I need to get some spending money by 19 July, so up for this challenge!

Never done one before, how do we start? I've already got some items listed, one ended yesterday £46 but yet to pay, and others ending tomorrow. Must think what else to sell.

£400 would be an excellent amount to make!

Never heard of turbo lister before though.

ElizabethWakefield · 06/06/2010 13:00

Thanks for starting a new thread.

Our schools finish up in less than 3 weeks, and it's 3 weeks tomorrow until I go on holiday, so I am doubtful I'll meet the target

I might try to list a few things this week, bur I'm thinking about maybe just taking a break until I get back, still undecided

Tortoise · 06/06/2010 13:41

5inthebed Turbo lister is an Ebay download. You can list items in it ready to upload when you are ready. Means i can get loads more listed today than i would have been able to list in one evening.

EW Yes rather ambitious amount but worth a try!

Right! I have gone mad and listed 44 items! Will be fun if they all sell!

Here they all are!

OP posts:
5inthebed · 07/06/2010 08:46

Wow well done!

I have 14 items finishing today, some have bids as well!

baabi · 07/06/2010 13:31

Hi, can I also join. I joined one earlier but it died a death! And this will keep me motivated to keep listing, we are going on holidays in August and I need some extra money for presents, going to see family. I took advantage of the free listing yesterday and manage to add a few items. here they are

twolittlemonkeys · 07/06/2010 13:37

Oh I'll join if I may. I know I won't make £400 but it's got to be worth listing some of the boys' old clothes etc for a bit of summer holiday money (not that we're going away but ice cream money is always good!)

Tortoise · 07/06/2010 16:57

Welcome babbi and twolittlemonkeys. Good luck with you items.

I have one item with a bid! (Not that i keep checking of course!!)

Well I sold 7 more items today, clothes totalling £15 and something larger for £70, so so far I have a totaly of £130. Only £270 to go before Iwin get £400. What can I sell next? Will have a good look around the DC room and might attack DHs DVD collection.

bluebump · 07/06/2010 20:34

Ooh why did I not know about Turbo lister before? I must take full advantage of using that in future. I have listed a few bits, funnily enough all of my cheaper clothes (Primark etc) and 3 have bids on them already despite only being listed last night...Not that i'm complaining at all!

BuzzingNoise · 07/06/2010 20:36

Count me in!
I have only one thing listed at the moment, but plenty to add.
I haven't joined in one of these challenges before.

mygirllollipop · 07/06/2010 21:22

Count me in, I always join these with good intentions and don't get very far.
Again, I don't think I'll be making £400. I listed yesterday when it was free, only about 10 items, have another 30 left to list though!

roosterroo · 08/06/2010 19:51

Can I join too, doubt I can make the target with spending it!!

It is a form of recycling, here are what I have forced DH to clear out

Tortoise · 08/06/2010 21:01

Good to see lots of Ebayer joining in .

So far 4 items will sell, Bids 9.

Can i join too? Only just started selling on eBay this month and have £56 in my Paypal account so am well chuffed - sold about 10 items, mainly shoes and my clothes.
i'm just coming to the end of my paid bit of mat leave so every penny counts at the moment! Aiming for £200 by end of summer so we can maybe have a couple of nights away.

Tempted to sell some of dd1's stuff, she's 4 months old, as we always said we'd only have one child but think I'll hang onto it for now...........

Tortoise · 12/06/2010 18:55

Doing ok with bids so far, all ending tomorrow. Quite a few wih no bids/watchers.

Sold Skechers fit flops on BIN for £30. Very happy with that.

OP posts:
Tortoise · 13/06/2010 17:43

My items end in a few hours.
will sell 20
Bids 40!

OP posts:
Tortoise · 13/06/2010 23:14

31 items sold. £103 in all plus £30 for the skechers so £133! Thrilled with that. Now have the fun of posting it all lol!

OP posts:
baabi · 13/06/2010 23:41

How is everybody doing, the weekend has not been too bad, £50 for 7 items is not too bad. Quite a few items to relist though so a bit annoyed at that, surprised that a big bundle of boys clothes did not sell as well as the bundle of Bob the builder toys! I need to make another £300 for the holidays so need to get on with listing again and stop spending it!

stressheaderic · 14/06/2010 12:05

I'm doing ok, sold 8 separate items of ladies clothing and 3 pairs of shoes and made £87!!
Got lots more on this week - hoping that lots of non-World Cup watching women will be browsing eBay while they can't watch TV!

roosterroo · 15/06/2010 18:37

Have been having a big clearout, have so many pairs of DS2's shorts - we only stop wearing them when he cant fit in them anymore. Just need to move on to Ds1's wardrobe - why do 10 year old boys destroy clothes?

here

ihavenewsockson · 15/06/2010 18:55

Can I join in?
I sold a lot of things last year but need to do a big clear out so I can get some money together towards a car.
I've listed a couple of things...hope they sell!

here they are

I'm a bit gutted about selling the body cos it's bravissimo but it doesn't fit so even if i get a few quid it will be worth it.

Does anyone know when the next free listing day is?

baabi · 17/06/2010 13:18

Seems that everybody doing well. I have had another go at listing some items, it is nice to see the pile of stuff not used going down, we have lots! I think until our holidays in August I will be listing every week! DH is getting quite fed up of seeing piles of stuff all over the living room.
Here are my new items
