Very upset with this bidder, suggestions?

I am currently selling my sons Thomas the tank engine bike. It is a small toddler bike with the pedals attached to the front wheel, rather than the frame. Today I have had a very snotty message from the only bidder, saying I am mis selling the item as it is in fact a trike and not a bike and that if she wins the item, which is looking likely, she will not pay and report me to Ebay.
The item is not a trike, it has 2 wheels and removable stabalisers and the fact that the pedals are attached to the front wheel is totally obvious from the picture. Argos are also selling an identical item, albeit a Peppa pig one as a 'bike'. I have 100% feedback and her accusations have upset me, what can I do?

oh whats the link and I'll bid on it to make sure she doesn't get it

How long does the auction have to run? You can cancel her bids if more than 12 hours

SparklyGothKat · 16/11/2009 22:00

oh just found it, do you want me to bid? My son would love it but you are too far for me to collect

CarGirl · 16/11/2009 22:00

how awful of her why not just ask you to cancel her bid?

tutu100 · 16/11/2009 22:02

I think you can cancel her bid and then block her. She sounds horrible.

KEAWYED · 16/11/2009 22:03

Can we put a winning bid in and then you keep the bike and we keep the money and you try again?

thisisyesterday · 16/11/2009 22:04

you can end the auction early, but you'll lose your fees i think

forward her e-mail to ebay, and let her know you have done this

KEAWYED · 16/11/2009 22:04

Have you got 47 mins left am I on the right one?

pinkmagic1 · 16/11/2009 22:05

I can't ask her to cancel her bid as theres only minutes to go. I am just hoping someone bids last minute as there are a couple of watchers.
Thanks for offering to do that Sparkly but not sure how we would go about canceling the transaction.

Ive had people collect from my home and given me the cash and I just ticked payment made.

BikeRunSki · 16/11/2009 22:08

2 wheels so it is a BIcycle.

She's being v thick. Also mean and nasty. I suspect she made her bid in error.

pinkmagic1 · 16/11/2009 22:08

How do I cancel the bid? Is it too late?

CarGirl · 16/11/2009 22:08

you can just mutually withdraw, it may cost you your listing fee, can't remember but that's only pence anyway.

SparklyGothKat · 16/11/2009 22:10

you just to 'leave feedback' and then click on the link 'report a problem you had with this transation' and then click 'buyer doesn't want item' and then it gets cancelled you get your fees back

JollyPirate · 16/11/2009 22:11

Nasty woman. She has bid on it thinking it's something else - realised her error and is now trying to blame you for it. Tell her to fark off - oh and let her know you will forward her nasty little email to ebay.

CarGirl · 16/11/2009 22:12

Can I bid, can I, can I?

If I bid high enough to get rid of her someone else may still out bid me (or another mner)

thisisyesterday · 16/11/2009 22:12

but you don't want to let the auction end do you? cos then cant she open a dispute if you don't sell it?

you need to either have someone bid on it for you or cancel her bid (but that might not be possible now)

JollyPirate · 16/11/2009 22:14

pinkmagic - you know we are ALL watching now don't you? .

Oh and dying to know who the SB (silly bitch) is who has sent you the stupid email.

pinkmagic1 · 16/11/2009 22:19

Go on someone, just outbid her by a little so she can't give me nasty feedback. I suppose we can cancel it.
