Summer Ebay Challenge!!! Shall we try for another £300?

I need motivating to de-clutter and make my bank account look a bit healthier!!! I've got loads of bags and boxes packed with car-boot stuff that didn't sell the other week so might start with that and list those things at 99p just to make a bit of space.

Anyone with me? Shall we set the deadline for end of Summer term (about the 18th July here)?

Podrick, will you be covered for costs through Royal mail compo? I'd be only sending tracked if I had a lot go missing, it's for your benefit more than the buyers.

Have just listed 8 items that I bought for dh and I last year for christmas presents after a lot of pressure from him!

Needless to say, he never used his and I rarely use mine so here's hoping that I can recoup some of my money!!

I'm running out of days this week. I had visions of listing a bit each night but have done nothing so far. Think I'll go and check TL and see if there are any unsold items left there so at least I'll have made a start at the target!!

Pod - Definitely wait until you get the item back before refunding. You've done lots of ebaying recently so maybe you just need a bit of a break from it to rebuild your enthusiasm? If I've had a few weeks of selling I find it hard to keep motivated and start dreading the listing and traipsing off to the post office (only 4 doors away so not a big effort!) and the whole thing really. I've had a few weeks off selling and now need a giant kick up the whatsit to get me started again!!

Aimsmum - well done that's a good amount of money!!

Tort - It is a good start and I'm sure it's cleared some space. Good price for the trousers! I was looking for a MR Freeze type toy a few weeks ago as a joke for my friend's 30th, shame I didn't ask here - they seem to sell for good money (well, they were a few weeks ago).

MaryPops - send-it-now still have the same size restrictions as other couriers even though they don't actually ask for the dimensions. I'm not sure how thoroughly they're checked though. I've just had a parcel delivered and it was a fair bit over the upper limit but I took a chance and it arrived with no problems.

Flappy good luck selling your items. For the link you need to be on a listing of yours or all you items list and copy the web address from the box at the top.
I like looking at what other people have listed.

Mog Am pleased to have made a little. Better than all going unsold! I am hoping to list more ever time items get to 3 days left.

My DD2 keeps asking for a DS lite. I think she will have to wait a bit longer though. Hoping the price will drop a bit now the DSi is out!

It is tedious sometimes especially when you get the stroppy post office assistant with a disdain of bayers

most are lovely just one is a bit off with me

another 99p to add to the total for a pair of worn once boots oh well they only cost me £2.50 in George sale so not lost a lot - and they hurt like fuck were a bit tight

two more items sold last night
my bra is selling bnwt and I have 10 watchers on the next 0-3 m bright pram shoes they are so pretty and never put them on dd bn
amazing what you find when you start emtying cupboards
all the stuff I was saving just in case is going on got a baby carrier used and some yellow blankets bnip to go on

still putting big pics on i think it helps if poeple can see hat they are buying but have lost the link to the pic of my bra lol x

One game has a bid on it and will sell, have a bid of 99p on one of the consoles - luckily have set a reserve!

Need to make quite a bit to pay for an outfit!!

Blame If they are willing to pay costs of sending then i would be happy to send. Sometimes, if i want to avoid sending abroad, i make the postage cost higher to put them off.
