So who is going to stop selling on ebay after the feedback rules come in next month?

Me for one. I have a good rating and don't want to see it tumble just because people are free to leave me bad feedback as a seller without any fear of getting the same back.

I am an honest and I like to think scrupulous seller, I am on the case whenever I have a buyer who isn't happy - but there are some who just take the proverbial, and this means they will be free to run amok.

For anyone who doesn't know about it, the announcement is Here here]].

Sellers will no longer be able to leave negative or neutral feedback for buyers.

I understand it is to protect the buyer but what about the seller?

Hmm, will see how it goes. I mainly sell old magazines (ie I am a hoarder and have crates and crates of old mags, and there is a bit of a market for them and it's nice tax-free extra cash as legally I don't have to declare it as I am selling my own belongings, not producing or buying in items to sell), most stuff goes for a couple of quid but now and then two bidders will get into a fight over something. I have about 99 feedback, nearly 100% + apart from this one silly cow.

poor you and your hubby!!

ooh madamez I have old mags to only national geo etc are they worth anything?

or too common? ha ha

MomofDj - I don't know about nat geo, have never tried that: I mainly sell music mags and old copies of Cosmopolitan/Honey/She. But it's worth a try: check out what other copies are going for but FGS check postage before quoting a postage price. Magazines are surprisingly dense and heavy which means they can cost more than you think to pos.
