Whilst looking for a particular bag my mother wants from Harrods, I came across these beauties. Hmm perhaps I will buy her them instead.

Although I must be green as I never knew such things existed!

Oh my giddy aunt...

What I want to know is, why does the description state 'ideal new year' ??

BigBadMouse · 22/03/2008 21:43

Hmmmm...Ideal for new year apparently...buy now to avoid the rush .

ilovewashingnappies · 22/03/2008 21:45

hippipotami · 22/03/2008 21:48

What on earth happens at hogmonay to require those pants????
I have obvously not lived

Fimbo · 22/03/2008 21:52

I am Scottish and believe me I know not of any reason why you would need those humdingers at Hogmanay.

hippipotami pmsl x 1000

preggerspoppet · 22/03/2008 21:56

hang on a minute, they labelled me some kind of pervert and removed my 'used cloth nappies' so how are they possibly allowed?

Kindereggsurpise · 22/03/2008 21:57

Urgh!

Well, that has been quite an education. I am so

Flight · 22/03/2008 21:58

I prefer these myself

'Send your waist size with payment'

LittleWonder · 22/03/2008 21:59

OMG look in the shop...all sorts of adult baby stuff

Kindereggsurpise · 22/03/2008 21:59

He also sells Adult Baby Mittens. With bows on them.

Oh dear, oh dear.

madamez · 22/03/2008 21:59

You can get away with a lot if you label it as fancy dress.

Fimbo · 22/03/2008 21:59

Oh that's given me the creeps.

Yuk.

Flibbertyjibbet · 22/03/2008 22:00

Because those are NEW, preggers. Ebay bans all 2nd hand underwear and swimwear cos the pervs love it, and classes 2nd hand nappies as used underwear.
Sad but true.
Someone with the ebay name of stinkykinky bought the Tens pads I didn't use when I had an elective c-section!
What on earth do people do that they need lower body pain relief!!!

BigBadMouse · 22/03/2008 22:00

Flight - did you notice it says 'very roomy'

Flight · 22/03/2008 22:01

Somehow on this thread I feel as though I have stumbled across a parallel universe. When I wake up tomorrow I shall have no recollection. Please....

Fimbo · 22/03/2008 22:03

I agree Flight and to think I was only looking for a bag. Little did I know.

ADULT BABY LARGE TEDDY BIB IDEAL ADULT BABYSTAG DO /NEW YEAR

Wtf is an Adult Babystag do?

OP posts:
madamez · 22/03/2008 22:20

Oh FFS, there are some people out there who get off on pretending to be babies (these people are absolutely NOT kiddy-fiddlers) just as there are people wh oget off on pretending to be knights in shining armour, vampires, or horsies. And loads of people like to dress up as jedi knights, thunderbirds, doctor who or hobbits. Cos they like to. If you don't like it, you don;t have to do it. And it's a shame that ebay won't let you sell cloth nappies on, but that is no reason to slag off other people.

Fimbo · 22/03/2008 22:25

We are having a laugh Madamez thats all. I have never come across this dressing up before.

OP posts:
BigBadMouse · 22/03/2008 22:29

slagging off??? More like taking the piss methinks - happens all the time. Can't see any mention to kiddy fiddling here btw

Flibbertyjibbet · 22/03/2008 22:31

No one mentioned kiddy fiddlers Madamez - only you.
Slagging off?
Moi?
No, just being marginally judgey-judgepantish about things other people do, which is what mumsnet is all about isn't it?

(for this thread that will be judgey-harrodsbabyjudgepants)
