two items not received what should I do

This has never happened to me before- I won two items at the end of sept from 2 different sellers, neither has arrived. They were both apparently posted on the same day - a week before the strike, they both sound really genuine and say they posted straight after paying. One has offered to send me the proof of posting so I can do non receipt of post and the other has asked to alow a bit more time after the strike to see if it turns up.
Seems odd that two parcels sent on the same day failed to arrive- should I wait a bit longer or do lost post action- and If I do that do i get my money back as well?

Royal mail wouldnt have started to look into it till today, they say wait 15 days and thats WITHOUT a strike on. Sit tight, and have you been to your local pick up point, they may be sitting there but the postys havent put the card through the door yet.

It is up to the seller to claim from the royal mail, not you. A seller must refund and then make the claim themselves.
I'd contact your local sorting office, maybe wait a couple more days, then contact sellers and ask for a refund.
