29 watchers, no bidders and 1 hour and a half left, will it sell?

Have a pram listed have had loads of messages about it but no bids.
If I reduce the price will it start bidding off or should I just wait it out?

Hate the suspense!

it may not sell for what you want if it ends at this time of day

most bidders will bid in the last 10 seconds or less so yu may still get bidders

We had similar with some garden equipment. Bidding started in last 10 minutes.

Alot of people use Snipers and these only auto bid in the last few seconds

This will be it's third time on Ebay, didn't sell the first and was bought by a fake bidder the second Angry. Has also been on Gumtree, Facebook and two nearly new sales!
Maybe no-one wants it, don't know why others are selling!

have you got lots of good clear photos - also it is important I think to make sure you end it at the right time of day. What is the postage cost or is it collection only?

Do you want to show us the listing - we may be able to give some pointers?

Sold! Much less than DH would've liked but it's not making anything cluttering up my dining room!
Next one ends in 1 hour 15.
What is the best time for ending an auction?

It sold for £135 starting price was £100, I wanted to go for 99p but DH said no.

The next one also started at £100 and is at £175 now.

because you will have no tracking number proving delivery, so they send their own courier, you still have to pack the item, wait in all day for a courier who may not turn up. If courier collects it and takes it away the buyer then claims not received and you have no proof of delivery so paypal gives buyer back all their money. So they have the pram for free.

So cash on collection only - never, ever make any exceptions to that, unless you arrange your own courier which buyer has paid for.

We've had couriers collect items, as long as they pay first and collection is at a mutually agreeable time then I don't see the problem. Your starting price was too high, we sold an ipad recently and started at 99p. It's such a low price people were quickly bidding and it went for in excess for what we wanted. Starting out at a high price puts people off, they like the thrill of outbidding each other I think. If you are really not prepared to let it go for below a certain price then put a reserve on.

Also the evening tends to be the best time as most people are at home by then. Everybody likes a bargain on eBay and sometimes you have to be prepared to sell for less than you feel it's worth!

Flossie - sorry you are wrong. The buyer paying by paypal first makes absolutely no difference. If they send their own courier you the seller will not have the tracking information, so lose all seller protection and risk losing your item and the money.

It's annoying I've sold some stuff for way over the asking price new which is Confused and the things I really need to sell go for nothing or don't even sell.

installments? Erm - big fat nope on that. You will have to file a non paying case in 4 days then either offer to underbidder or relist.

Oh no installments are bad, she says she gets paid on x day but so I know she is genuine wants to pay a bit now, some on payday and the rest when I return from holiday.
