I have cut and pasted below from a listing....I was considering a purchase from this UK seller but feel they need a real attitude adjustment! (and spell checker). Love their shouty capitals and 'and I do expect to recieve positive feedback!'

VERY IMPORTANT!

READ ALL OF THE FOLLOWING BEFORE BIDDING!

I WILL NOT BE ACCEPTING ANY RETURNS WHAT SO EVER SO READ CAREFULLY THE DESCRIPTION BELOW

ALL OF MY ITEMS ARE FACTORY SECONDS UNLESS STATED OTHERWISE

THIS MEANS THAT THE GARMENTS WILL HAVE INCURED SOME KIND OF DAMAGE OR DEFEACT

AS I GET LARGE AMOUNTS IN AT ONCE I GIVE THE GARMENTS A QUCIK CHECK

IF I FIND A BIG DEFEACT i PUT IT IN THE LISTING

HOWEVER SOMETIMES I CAN MISS DEFEACTS

SUCH HAS SMALL MARKS SMALL HOLES ECT

I DO STRESS THAT YOU ACCEPT THE GARMENT WILL HAVE A DEFEACT OF SOME KIND

I WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR PEOPLE CLAIMING THE ITEM AS ?NOT AS DESCRIBED?

UPON ITS ARRIVAL

I HAVE EXAPLINED FULLY

IF YOU ARE NOT HAPPY WITH THE DESCRIPTION, YOU KNOW WHAT TO DO

NO RETURNS

AND I DO EXPECT TO RECIEVE POSITIVE FEEDBACK AND NO ONE DEMANDING RETURNS

SOME COULD BE A MATTER OF SMALL BOBBLING TO THE GARMENT

OR SMALL CLICKS (SNAGS) THAT I CAN DO NOTHING FOR

SO, IF YOU ARE HAPPY WITH A DEFEACT ITEM (WHICH CAN ALWAYS BE FIXED, IF I MISS THEM OUT) THEN GO AHEAD AND BUY

SOME OF THE ITEMS HAVE SUCH A TINY DEFEACT I NEVER FIND THE

AND YOU MAY NOT EITHER!

I ALSO CANNOT CONFIRMED IF THE GARMENT HAS PREVIOUSLY BEEN WORN OR NOT

AS A FACTORY SECOND THAT MEANS IT HAS BEEN SENT BACK TO THE HEAD OFFICE OF ITS STORE WITH A DEFEACT

PLEASE EMAIL ME WITH ANY QUESTIONS PRIOR TO BIDDING IF YOU ARE UNSURE

ILL TRY ANSWER THE BEST I CAN

I DO PUT A HIGH DELIVERY DATE ON THE COVER MYSELF IF I MISS THE POSTI

FOR THOSE NEEDING QUICK POST PLEASE EMAIL PRIOR TO BUYING TO SEE IF WE CAN ARRANGE A FASTER DELIVERY TIME FOR YOU

ALSO THE POSTAGE PRICE IS THE COST FOR THE MATERIALS USED AND THE SHIPPING ITSELF, SO DO TAKE THIS INTO CONSIDERATION WHEN LEAVING FEEDBACK FOR POSTAGE

Do you think the seller may have some Ishoos with returns?

QuietNinjaIsAngry · 15/06/2012 18:36

Ha ha ha ha ha that's quite funny! They have definitely covered all bases though! if anyone dares to buy from them

5inthebed · 15/06/2012 18:37

Wonder if they were having a bad day?

fergoose · 15/06/2012 18:46

I hope they get lots of not as described cases against them - that will show them that they do have to accept returns.

Convert · 15/06/2012 18:52

I really want to send a message asking if they accept returns

Flibbertyjibbet · 15/06/2012 18:54

My eyes kept confusing Defeact with Defecate.

iwantavuvezela · 15/06/2012 18:55

Loving the defeacts!

lololizzy · 15/06/2012 19:07

I don't know how to do a link . If you put in eBay (UK) search engine 'Miss Selfridge floral butterfly multi popular dress' you'll find this happy soul !
Yep me too with the defecates!

I've just done it- it made me laugh so much I had to ask "do you accept returns if the dress has defects" (couldn't resist spelling it right- lolololol. Think we should all do it Grin

lololizzy · 15/06/2012 19:15

well yes you're in your rights considering they didn't mention actual DEFECTS! HA let us know the reply!

I've done it too, couldn't resist tying all in caps!

tiddleypompom · 15/06/2012 19:22

Not exactly the 'small print' eh?! Did you check out his feedback, bet there have been a few unhappy customers...

Convert · 15/06/2012 19:22

I feel naughty Grin

lololizzy · 15/06/2012 19:25

You're imagining it's a him too?! So am I, although no reason to think that! A real Mr Angry, surrounded by high street dresses with bobbly pits, bust zips or fake tan stains on the necklines

OP posts:
SleepyFergus · 15/06/2012 19:34

That's unreal! What a fruit loop!

Thing is, they still don't have a leg to stand on if you did want or send something back or get refunded (say if it was damaged) as eBay more than likely to side with the buyer.

Ooh, I'm tempted to ask a question too re returns.......

Convert · 15/06/2012 19:38

It actually say on the listing under returns policy that the seller does accept them. Confused.

SleepyFergus · 15/06/2012 19:40

Hell, I went and asked the seller too, nutter!

I love this seller. He/she is sayong what I wish i could stay. Have sacked off Ebay after a few bad experiences of absolute KNOBS whinging about a 99p top arriving a day late or whatevr. Idiots.

Magneto · 15/06/2012 19:48

Has anyone had a reply yet. My fingers are itching to ask him a question...

Angelico · 15/06/2012 19:50

:o So tempted to go and ask him the question...

Convert · 15/06/2012 19:50

No reply yet Sad

I'm certainly not going to bid on the bloody dress if I don't even know if i can return it if it's damaged.

Magneto · 15/06/2012 19:53

Well I asked if it had any other defects and if he would accept returns if it was faulty.

I am imagining him like this>
