I have posted loads of stuff overseas and have never once had a problem. Have only ever had problems with people within the UK Grin

Use the royal mail site to calculate costs.

Aimsmum · 10/05/2011 22:29

Good news on the Lego, I love when things get watchers straight away!!

DinosaursHateUnderpants · 10/05/2011 22:49

Me too Aimsmum :)

BreakOutTheKaraoke · 11/05/2011 11:49

I used MyHermes ccourier before, item took about 5 days/ a week to get there but good prices.

My first load of stuff only got me about £20- not brill! But listed my next lot anyway, all good feedback I suppose!

SNOWBall4girlz · 11/05/2011 15:29

Hi ladies I am bit late joining this thread but here goes nothing.

Got about 100 items on its took me since sunday to edit them all and I still have a couple to change :).

mostly baby and girls but a few other bits

one bid and only 5 or six watchers at the mo

hope you are doing a bit better tortoise its started to pick up a bit or so I have been told :) still waiting lol

DinosaursHateUnderpants · 11/05/2011 22:59

Got gazillions of watchers on our Lego stuff so far (well, 40 or so) so I'm hoping we'll come good this weekend :) Check out the Lego stuff

KatyMac · 12/05/2011 19:17

We have 17 watchers but only 1 bid Sad

KatyMac · 13/05/2011 08:28

Someone wants some of the Sylvanian family stuff - it mostly has watchers but one has 1 bid.

Can I withdraw it? Eiter the ones without a bid or the one with a bid?

Saltire · 13/05/2011 08:50

Every time i try to link to my listing on here, I end up showing my whole ebay account (thank goodness for preveiw eh?) and gave up.
I have only about 5 thing listed, all at 99p, so not expecting much, no watchers or bidders, and TBH I am finding some clothing etc isn't selling well just now, of course it could just be the stuff I have lsited Grin

Tortoise · 13/05/2011 12:18

Saltire it wouldn't take us to your account. If I wad signed in it would go to my ebay. Click on one of your items, then link that.

Katymac you can end items early or add a buy it now price. Not ones with bids though.

I must list some items tonight. Need to see if my selling limit has ended yet.

KatyMac · 13/05/2011 14:48

OK there are 7 lots 1 with a bid; I'll ask her if she wants the other 6

Tortoise · 13/05/2011 15:59

Depends if they are offering a good price. Check completed listings to see what similar items have sold for.

OP posts:
KatyMac · 13/05/2011 16:26

(How do I do that?) - whispers KatyMac

Tortoise · 13/05/2011 16:59

when you are signed into ebay, search for the item then look down the side for check completed listings. Then you can see how much previous listing sold for. It is very handy.

OP posts:
KatyMac · 13/05/2011 17:16

Thanks, I found that; so if it has a bid I can't cancel it?

SNOWBall4girlz · 13/05/2011 17:22

Another item posted :)
sold two items to the same person and they asked for a discount so knocked off half the postage of the second item ...will cost about 3.25 to send plus packing so £3.70 is fair to cover the packaging ie 45 p they have not paid yet.

still got alot of stuff on with about ten watchers over the 100 items lol

SNOWBall4girlz · 13/05/2011 17:23

katymac you can cancel a bid just not sure how :(

KatyMac · 13/05/2011 17:51

How frustrating

Tortoise · 13/05/2011 19:02

Are you planning to add buy it now to listings for the one seller to buy? If they are offering to buy outside of Ebay i wouldn't recommend it as you won't be covered by Ebay protection. You can cancel a bid but it is a bit unfair on the bidder. Smile
I can list 10 items this month! Woopdee doo!!! Account review is 20th May! I hope my DSRs are ok this month. I have masses to list to make money for possible house move.

OP posts:
KatyMac · 13/05/2011 19:10

The ones I have cancelled, I will sell to her privately; she is in & out my house 3 times a week as I childmind her children. The ones that have been bid on it's up to her whether she bids on them or not I guess

KatyMac · 13/05/2011 19:10

That is fair isn't it?

Tortoise · 13/05/2011 19:11

That sounds fair.Smile

OP posts:
KatyMac · 13/05/2011 19:21

I'm just kicking myself I didn't ask her first Sad & DD is so excited that Mindee is having her stuff

I'd hate to be unfair on anyone

DinosaursHateUnderpants · 15/05/2011 12:18

So far we've got 18 items with bids on so I reckon we're looking at 20 sales in all. All of them ending tonight. Loads more to list over the next few weeks, all weird and wonderful and nothing like we have on this week.

Hoping for about £80 this evening all here

Tortoise · 15/05/2011 12:20

I have a tv stand and a chest of drawers to list later.
