Re folate, If you Google 'dolphin solgar folate 1000' a shop called dolphin something or other that sells them at the lowest price I've found comes up.

Well I slept awful and bbt is down so AF will be bang on time😖 at least that's one thing that's working... I'm still going to go for my beta and then collect the meds in the afternoon. I had sort of started to hope again these last few days 😓
I didn't think of making a video of the injections demo but the leaflets I've got are really good.

No, no break, I jump right back in! That's why the logistics were so tricky... 1st injection tomorrow night!
It's hard to get to the point of 3 failed IUIs (although 2nd time was wasted) but at least I feel this cycle was completely normal so I'm in a good place to start IVF. Now I just need to tell my parents I'm ok as I know they'll freak out!

Glad you can get straight on with the IVF. I've always felt better when I can be doing something towards the baby plan whether it be moving on to the next attempt or researching next steps, organising treatment etc.

Sorry Pez 😔 of course you were hoping and that's what makes it so hard (and keeps us going).

Oooh exciting, that is one good thing about this....no real time to dwell just onto the next steps (probably a good thing) I've been awake since 6.15- always nice in ur day off 😫 (I very much wake up with the sun) just watching Britains next top model then get ready then hair at 9.30 😊going to take a little packed lunch so I can get straight to Tunbridge wells even if I'm an hour early I can sit and eat my lunch while 💩ing myself with excitement

Thanks shoes and witch, yeah I'm the same, always find t easier to move straight onto the next step - no time to think is good! I just wish i didn't have to update my family and friends on this next step... I'll keep the update to a minimum, no details (with you lot it's different )

It's first nurses appointment so talk about timelines, medication, start pill, costings, consent forms etc. It's all starting

I've had a massive stroke of luck in which my Endocrinologist (paid for by my private healthcare) conveniently just ordered all the blood tests basically the clinics wanted. AND an ultrasound of my ovaries, etc. So chuffed.

Everything looks good - my lining is a little thin. Is there anything (over the counter-ish) I can take for that? That said I'm only CD8. EPK was 'high' today (low yest) so now I'll watch to see if my theory of early ov is correct. I'm using the digital smiley face OPKs - anyone know whats the cheapest place to get them?

Shoes Was it you who went with StorkKlinic? I'm really liking them so far (and their Cryos discount lol).

Am looking to start cycling in May so Bear & Pickle we'll be cycle buddies!

So I'm confused with my OPK's... I was so close yesterday but today the test line is only about half the shade of the control line. I'm going to keep testing, but I think I remember someone saying that can happen before you surge?

I think I remember someone saying that too Caution. I used the smiley ones so can't comment!

pez I'm sorry, but also I'm hopeful for you. Ice pack at the ready, prepare your injections in good time, the first couple of nights will always take longer than you expect!

Caution I have to admit I could never use those ones accurately. Def a big vote for the clearblue digitals!

Yup it was me caution you can often get something showing up a few days before then goes quite then BOOM you get a clear positive to keep testing, that's why I like the smiley face once to confirm when I'm thinking hmmm is it??? Good luck (I've found that part quite enjoyable each month,generally gets me through and I think YAY another month closer 😊

Pez do you have the gonal f pen? I find it so much more straightforward (and painless) than I'd anticipated - the hardest part was changing the needle! When I started the cerotide as well the whole process got a lot more time consuming and I have to ensure I have a good 20 minutes rather than the five the pen takes. I have a scan tomorrow morning, so should find out then when I use the trigger injections...

I was convinced that my last IUI was going to work because it was so straightforward. I am now using a new donor (who the andrologist at the clinic seems half in love with!) so fingers crossed he'll have superstrong swimmers.

pickle how was your appointment today? I still have a month before my consent so hope that doesn't throw out May start (its 2 weeks before my cycle starts so don't think I should).

Just a donor to choose now and I am torn my favourite has no recorded pregnancies and I can't decide if its better to go with someone who has pregnancies or not? Any thoughts?

Bear, are you using ESB? I found that the no previous pregnancy info is not always updated so I wouldn't necessarily take this into account (I was the same as you before I found out)

Late, I will be on Bemfola syringes, needles look really thin and soft and the syringes are one dose only. I'll have 4 or 5 times to practice on them before adding the cetrotide. The powder mixing and removing air bubbles is freaking me out a bit but I'm ready to get started!
