Last year, survival was the aim
This year, I'll be waking up in my own, lovely home, without ex. But also, without my children.
However I'm popping in to see them (at ex's new home) for a bit and then to my friend's family for the day. And on Boxing Day they'll be with me, and we've planned a lovely chilled day.
The future that seemed so distant is here, and it's good. So if you're where I was last year, just know it's not permanent.
