OK this is a serious question

and I am asking on here because more men post here (well hopefully). Namechanger btw.

DH has been considering having a penis enlargement for a while now - he is VERY consious about his size but I however do not have a problem with it at all. He seems to think I am not satisfied by him but I am, its just I can't achieve an orgasm EVERY time but I am sure a lot of women can't either fgs.

He has been to his doctor about this & the doc tried to talk him out of it. He is willing to fly to the states to get it done as he goes there often anyway with work, its cheaper too apparently.

Please give me advice on how to talk him out of this, he really is deadly serious about it. How can I make him understand that size is not that important. Plus I would hate him to go through unecessary pain.

This is not a wind up & if I can't ask on MN where can I ask? This is the only site I post on.

Google the procedure and find the horror stories to show him.

Then Google women and orgasms and find him proof that women don't orgasm every time.

If he's not convinced by what you've told him already, let him 'hear' it from other people.

Apologise if all this Googling (and that doesn't sound right given the thread content, does it?) gets you stuck in a porn loop but, given the subject matter, I reckon it's unavoidable. You might want to think seriously about deleting history, temp files and cookies as well!

SpeccieSeccie · 21/12/2007 23:07

Why does he want the enlargement? I mean, for a bigger penis, ok, but actually, why?

discoverlife · 21/12/2007 23:10

And what is he going to do for you if they damage the nerves and he can NEVER get it up again. Tell him he is being a stupid insecure idiot.

TheQueenSPeach · 21/12/2007 23:17

Perhaps if he's so determined to make you happy, could you tell him to find other ways to manage it If he's so keen to make you orgasm, he may need physical evidence that it's not penis size and there are a whole load of other options - men like concrete evidence! Sorry if this makes huge assumptions about what you get up to, or if you've tried convincing him this way already.

Blu · 21/12/2007 23:22

There are any number of statistics that show that the majority of orgasms for the majority of women are not just down to penetrtive sex, anyway. Does he know this? Many many women only have an orgasm with direct clitoral stimulation, if all thier partners went off for penis enlargement, you wouldn't be able to get a seat on a lane for love nor money!

Blu · 21/12/2007 23:22

'plane' not 'lane'.

DeePandcrisPandeven · 22/12/2007 00:00

We ARE a funny lot.

What is the detail of his reaction when you tell him it isn't necessary. Is there another motive for his desire??

btw, this is cod, isn't it.

madamez · 22/12/2007 00:03

It's not the size of the wand, it's the magic in the stick. Tell him my mate's definition of a crap shag is the bloke who shags you all night with a 3-inch dick and kisses you goodbye with a 9 inch tongue...

amytheearwaxbanisher · 22/12/2007 00:17

Is he by any chance about to turn 40....?

discoverlife · 22/12/2007 21:04

When mine turned 40 he went out and bought 6 motorbikes, 3 of them still in bits in the boxes ready for renovation. Guess what, he never did get around to doing them.

discoverlife · 22/12/2007 21:07

Ask him how many REAL orgasms a female porn star actually has, and those actors are hung like horses. He should be flattered that you feel secure enough in your relationship not to feel the need to fake your orgasms.

brusselbeansprouts · 22/12/2007 21:09

I've had plenty of crap sex with well hung blokes. Nothing to do with it.

ShakeysGirl · 22/12/2007 21:13

I dated a man once that had the biggest penis i have ever seen and thats including on films etc. It was very painful and our relationship didn't last very long as it was impossible to be intimate with him. Big is not always best. Would rather have normal any day.

Triathlete · 31/12/2007 16:16

Tell him that to enlarge a penis, they first suck fat from his waistline and then inject it into his mickey. After a while, the fat is reabsorbed and he is left with his original, but now damaged penis. He'll need to have the procedure at regular intervals, each time with the potential for damage.

Then get him to make you come without his penis, using his hands and mouth. Tell him how great it was and how great a lover he is. Give him loads of reassurance. Don't tackle the issue head on (ahem - no pun intended). You'll need to be more subtle by persuading him that he is just what you need, just as he is.

I'm a bloke, by the way.

Agathon · 02/01/2008 23:10

Speaking as a man with a large penis, it is not a bed of roses for us biggies either. DW has to urinate immediately after to stop cystitis, tight foreskin is more common, hiding hard-ons in publc is nigh on impossible, BJs cover far less of the shaft, it can be painful for the DW/DP, can cause damage to the cervix and anal sex is a pipedream.

And the chances of never raising a salute again are, in my opinion, unacceptably high.

DaDaDa · 02/01/2008 23:42

Speaking as a man with a large penis...

Sorry. I must stop being juvenile.

Speaking as a man who hasn't ('well, it's big enough to fill a pram' as my Dad would say) I still would never ever mess with what nature has given me. I've seen the pictures and it reminded me far too much of sausage making.

It sounds like he needs to bone up on his oral skills (if you'll pardon the pun) and you probably need to use a little judicious flattery. What's most important is a good fit, and you need to make sure he knows he's the right man for you.

DaDaDa · 02/01/2008 23:44

It's average by the way. Ahem.

Fizzylemonade · 07/01/2008 12:25

Well I must be the only girl who wants her DH to have a reduction it is a case of "say when" ha ha ha.

Seriously, big is not always better (although DH is amazing) are you reading this darling?? It really is down to technique and using everything God gave you, hands, mouth, tongue, vibrator, oh maybe that one is from a shop!

My body is wrecked from child bearing but I hope that the only person who gets to see it naked is the man who ruined it! My DH is happy with my body so although I may have hang ups I know that I am truly loved.

Surely your reassurance helps him? The risk of the surgery far outweighs the result which he may not be happy with. Google it, it might help (says the girl who watched her DH have the snip - I saw it on the internet and then saw it for real, not good viewing)

MAMAZON · 07/01/2008 12:28

tell him he doesn't need a bigger penis he just needs to learn some more forepaly methods.

MAMAZON · 07/01/2008 12:30

oh and tell him that such procedures are still not that great, results vary and can often lead to impotancy.

he could have it hitting his knee's but its no good if it doesn't work!

TsarChasm · 07/01/2008 12:32

'anal sex is a pipedream' sorry, lol

My DH is always saying that he is "Small", ocasionally he will say "average". To be honest I don't give a damn. I must admit, I am lucky enough to have an orgasm almost everytime, but not all women do, and when I don't he feels as if he has failed. It drives me crazy, it's nothing to do with failing, or his size. Its just one of those things.

I think he is silly to want to have an enlargement operation. There are so many things that could go wrong. IMHO, if you love him, you love him, whatever his size, and I know you have probably said that to him many times and its falling on deaf ears.
It must be so frustrating for you.

Maybe show him some of the posts from here, it may make him realise that size is not an issue. It's love that counts. Or a very talented tongue.......
Hee hee

And as for "Big enough to fill a pram"...WONDERFUL!!
