How does it feel tone in here?

I'm just pooling around on my iPad, wasting time, when I realized that Dadsnet is in the club section of mn and wondered how people felt about that?

Would it be more relevant to be in the parenting section, or does there even need to be a separate section?

Just curious, really, but it sort of feels like being a Dad is some kind of hobby group you might sign up to on a Thursday evening, when I suspect that really it's part of everyday life.

What type of cow goes in these little puddings then? Like bits of steak? Mince? I must admit it doesn't sound extremely yummy but then I'm not keen on suet

LePan · 16/08/2012 23:37

Dog's name demand..we won't laugh. Much.

TuftyFinch · 16/08/2012 23:38

MrsRhett it's a noun. A bit like table but not. It's enough of a noun to make me sound mad when I'm in the woods shouting her name. We made the mistake of letting DC name her.

MrsRhettButler · 16/08/2012 23:39

Chicken kiev? With garlic and all that? I luffs them, I think I shall cook those on saturday, I haven't had those in ages.

MrGin · 16/08/2012 23:39

I'm starting to picture AF's cow pie like Desperate Dan's. With horns poking out the top. ;)

AnyFucker · 16/08/2012 23:40

suet ?

what's not to like ?

saturated fat galore

beef puddings...steak < beef cow>

jam roly poly ?

food of the gods !

MrsRhettButler · 16/08/2012 23:42

I misread pan's post and thought the dogs name was Demand! Grin

Oooh never let the kids name the animals! We now have an ABD named Anabella due to making that mistake :)

It may be pretty but it sounds stupid when you're stood in the field shouting it out

MrGin · 16/08/2012 23:42

I had a butternut squash curry from works canteen for diner.

It was horrid.

Also. I would avoid pee-ing on blackberries. That's just wrong.

NewStartSameStory · 16/08/2012 23:43

Now I am hungry again. And I have strange cravings for food I wouldn't normally want. Although crumble sounds lovely. Apple crumble making at nearly midnight would be wrong wouldn't it.

yes i got rid of the other name, TheGame was just tooo evil

MrsRhettButler · 16/08/2012 23:44

Hmm, maybe a jam roly poly, yes, I could definitely eat one of those. They don't count as suet then on account of being yummy anyway

MrsRhettButler · 16/08/2012 23:46

Crumble making is never wrong whateveryournameisnow Wink

AnyFucker · 16/08/2012 23:47

somebody I know is intent on scattering her deceased partners ashes over the blackberry bushes they used to frequent together

MrGin · 16/08/2012 23:48

I'm thinking of a name change.

I thought MrG or just 'G' then I thought 'Kenny G'

LePan · 16/08/2012 23:50

Master Gee was one of the Sugar Hill Gang? < shows age and dodgy music tastes..>

MrsRhettButler · 16/08/2012 23:51

Shock AF! No way! Any chance you can follow behind with a watering can?

TuftyFinch · 16/08/2012 23:52

I bloody love suet but I don't eat the animals. If someone made a soya pie like Fray Bentos I would eat them every day. When we lived in London there was a pie and mash shop that sold vegetarian pies, mash, peas and gravy. It was my favourite place. They sold it to a national chain to sell overpriced burgers. I don't want a burger with a giant mushroom and cheese thanks all the same.
MrGin I'm glad you don't wee on blackberries. I'm sure others do.

MrsRhettButler · 16/08/2012 23:53

BigG? (Assuming you are big of course) Grin

Changlingz · 16/08/2012 23:53

AnyFucker · 16/08/2012 23:55

I am going to facilitate the blackberry bush ash-scattering. It's all dust dust innit

MrsRhettButler · 16/08/2012 23:55

I could eat a toasted twister right now mmmmmm

MrGin · 16/08/2012 23:56

BigG ? Well I'm 6'3" so possibly.

6'3" tall that is.

LePan · 16/08/2012 23:56

What about 'GSpot' ?

No one would ever find you.
