Sounding the MN cycling klaxon, the The Tour de France fantasy team game is ready and open. Velogames

Who do we pick?

Who will actually be riding this year?

Will we have an MN competition again this year? Bagsy not thinking of a name this time.

Bonjour peloton, lets hope we gather up a few more on the way.

We've got the map up in the kitchen, the boys have been given their free socks from the magazine pack. All very excited here. Plus, I managed to get DS3 properly into cycling this year and now it's his favourite sport. DS2 is going to have a very annoying three weeks soon.

I don't know who to pick for my team, Drama any hints Wink?

Sky have announced their final line up. No Stannard which I'm putting down to his official photograph making him look ancient and this is sapping his strength in some sort of Samson-esque moment.

So chuffed for Cummings today.

Very excited that next years tour starts a week later due to some football faff as it means the final week is in the school holidays for once so we can do my post A level/GCSE/end of primary school fantasy escape and watch the tour.

Look at this terrible picture of Stannard. He's said he just doesn't feel strong and they've done tests but nothing is showing in his bloodwork but I think it's because their official photographer made him look about 50. Which is a fine age but not one for strength in a TdF team. He's only 30 FGS!

All the Sky team have shocking photo's. I've told DS1 that if his dream of being a rider doesn't pay off at least he can take better shots for them when he gets older!

No league yet.

I don't have a team, I was waiting on Dimension Data's announcement today. My two great loves will be at the tour! So chuffed for Cummings doing the double at the nationals. I truly cannot believe he's kept his form after surgery like that. Now I have to try and not let my heart rule my head picking a team.

Cummings did a vote on twitter today Drama, black or white, it looks like the overwhelming majority have gone for black thank goodness.

Did you see the photo of Cummings on twitter of him packing up after the nationals? Kit in a shopping back, bike disassembled to put it inside his hatchback Mondeo!

Looking forward to the Grand Depart as it goes along the roads I take out of Dusseldorf and through Neanderthal when I go to the office. It's funny as the route has all been freshly resurfaced - and stops at the roundabout where the cyclists go left, and the other two exits go straight back to less lovely surface

How exciting to see them ride roads you are on, funny how the surface is magically perfect! Watching the Tour de Yorkshire is always a thrill when they are riding round my home. Although if any of your colleagues are on here I hope Neanderthal was a DYAC Grin.

Someone come up with a league name for Velogames and I'll see if I can remember how to set it up. Must go make my team now.

Phew, you got in! Was just about to start rampaging around MN shouting on different threads so we got the gang together.

If no one thinks of a name for the league either you are going to have to put up with three weeks of my really bad one as well. Someone have a think. Please!
