Who do we pick?

Who will actually be riding this year?

Will we have an MN competition again this year? Bagsy not thinking of a name this time.

Have also joined, was on this thread last year but I'm a regular name-changer. Had my team done for a family league on the day it opened but have just checked this morning for non-starters - and yes I had one. Goodbye Mr Soupe Smile

When the only reason you drag yourself from your pit of remorse if because you want to check your velogames team and enter one for your 10 year old because you promised . Two bottles of gin between three of us last night. NHS workers are just the worst when we get stuck in. I'm quietly dying with Eurosport on.

Our teams are named for our favourite riders.

What a bag of emotions. Elated crying at the result then, bam, remembering you have Valverde in your Velogames team!

Feeling a lot better thank you, DS1 came home for his bike so I sent him out for a can of coke (make sure it's COLD or don't bother) and some dark chocolate.

MrS I smiled when I saw your team - if you'd asked me to guess who you'd have on it I've have picked about five of them Grin

I'm not a Valverde fan as you all know, but I didn't like to see him, or anyone, crash like that. He's apparently broken his knee cap and his ankle and is out for the rest of the season.

Endo DH is feeling the same as you. He wanted him as a wild card but didn't have enough points so swapped last minute. I wish I'd included him in mine too.

I only picked Valverde because I was trying to optimise my point scoring around having all my favourites in the team and Bicycling Magazine told me to. Last time I listen to them. Poor man though, fractured patella is nasty, the ligaments tend to ping the halves apart as well so you have to build a little metal cage around it so it mends.

Loved G's face so much. You should have heard the presenters on S4C, one of them could barely talk (I had to switch over to them for a bit just to see how it was going down) from the bits of Welsh I could understand I think it's the first grand tour win for a Welshman ever? Anyway they were saying 'hanes' which I think is historic an awful lot between stutters.

I have Tony Gallopin on my team - it looks a bit doubtful he'll make Paris after he hurt his ankle. Sad
