I wondered if there would be interest in a thread about theatre that isn't London? Any theatre from the big ones to your local.

I have tickets for...

Operation Mincemeat at The Lowry
Road at The Royal Exchange
The Tempest, The Cherry Orchard, Driftwood and Arturo Ui at the RSC.
The Thrill of Love, a play about Ruth Ellis at Wigan Little Theatre.

Glad you enjoyed it Smile

As You Like It at Stratford is fab. They are usually a fairly staid audience at the RSC, so it's the first time there that I've seen the entire audience leap to it's feet for a standing O. The celebrity casting of Jonathan Groff does pay off - he's very charismatic, and it does add something to have a man playing a woman playing a man (Rosalind/Ganymede).
Also the actor playing Celia (sorry, can't remember his name) is excellent, as is Richard McCabe playing Jaques.
Looking forward to Parts 1 and 2 of Middlemarch today, in the Swan.
