god now I don't know what to do - I can't tell him I want to go and see this show - he knew my computer was knackered and needed replacing, his dad was selling his 2yr old top of the range one (with scanner, printer, webcam etc etc included) and he (new man) has bought it for ME!!!!!

I can't take the computer and a break in London to see a show...............can I ??????

I loved Billy Elliot, and DP did too.

Earlybird - ds1 is 7 and wants to see it - if I had the time to get down to London I would take him.

Clementine1 · 26/05/2008 20:53

Wicked is suitable for a 7 year old - go to Wicked you won't be disappointed. I would go tonight in a heartbeat.

Earlybird · 26/05/2008 21:09

Thanks for feedback. Will look into it.

Thanks for all your recommendations - we're going to go and see Wicked, with a visit to the Absolut Icebar, Dinner and an overnight stay in a hotel

It's got to be Hairspray. No contest. Fantastic musical.

Brief Encounter is one of the best things on at present

Brief Encounter is the classiest thing around

I know I am a bit late since you are off to see Wicked (which I would love to go and see!) but can I throw a vote in for Avenue Q. Like Sesame Street but for grown ups. Rude and funny.

starladyjulie · 04/05/2010 01:04

All The Fun Of The Fair at the Garrick in Charing Cross Road. Stars David Essex, it's wonderful!

LovelyDear · 04/05/2010 01:16

i was about to say Avenue Q too growly - seen it twice, vg.

i was just about to reply to this then realised i am two years too late! Would have also recommended Wicked though!
