Will be brief, daughter due to be sent down. Any one have a clue what to pack? Do we pack a bag? I've looked on line and it's a bit vague . Any help greatly appreciated.

You sound like a wonderful mum. Nothing practical to add, but I am sorry you are going through this.

Groovee · 26/01/2017 15:07

Hugs xx

just popping in to say still here and still sending all the best thoughts and prayers to you as you go through this. It is crap. And it will pass. Stay strong. What a great mum you are Flowers

UnbornMortificado · 27/01/2017 06:42

Drinks I'm so sorry Flowers

DD2's dad went in but apart from a cannabis addiction (which I don't think detox covers. Although I could be wrong fruit will know) there wasn't any issues with medication.

I'm really shocked about the epilepsy medication being missed Sad surely it's lifesaving?

I really hope Styal gets its act together and she uses this time to get rehabilitated and sort herself out.

I also agree with the poster who said prison might be a punishment but screwing up medication is just inhumane.

Might be different in jails but I'm doing some training at the minute that includes administering medication. Missed meds can happen (it's just human error) but in this job at least missing something like your DDs that led to a fit would be a disciplinary offence.

Thinking of you both.

Agree with you funny

UnbornMortificado · 27/01/2017 20:19

Funnyandwitty (no your fucking not) care to add any words of support to that oh so clever little post?

funnyandwittyusername · 27/01/2017 20:20

No. I don't support violent domestic abusers who assault police and then whine about the consequences. Do you?

UnbornMortificado · 27/01/2017 20:21

Agree with you funny

My god the intellect is staggering on this thread tonight.

Twinklyfaerieglade · 27/01/2017 20:21

funny you are not funny or clever. This thread is, apart from you supportive of a mum who is doing absolutely doing the right thing for her daughter. Others are supporting her, in the best way they can. You should be ashamed and hope you and your are always perfect

Carollocking · 27/01/2017 20:21

And still waiting for the funny and witty ?

UnbornMortificado · 27/01/2017 20:22

No I support a clearly distressed parent.

As everyone on this thread was doing.

Carollocking · 27/01/2017 20:22

Ah a police person it sounds like or ex

UnbornMortificado · 27/01/2017 20:23

And only complete arseholes say "as you were"

HTH

OneWithTheForce · 27/01/2017 20:37

No. I don't support violent domestic abusers who assault police and then whine about the consequences. Do you?

No one is asking you to. This thread is supporting the woman who has fought to prevent all that happening and is now going through the nightmare of seeing her child go to prison, covered in bruises and unable to access vital medication for a serious medical condition that she has had since she was a toddler. Have some fucking compassion and if you can't the sod off. You're not needed here.

funnyandwittyusername · 27/01/2017 20:46

Funny and witty USERNAME. I never proclaimed to be either. Is it that hard to read the full user name or are you all too busy frothing?

I've nothing against the OP regardless of her victim blaming and minimisation of her daughter's offending. My problem is the double standards in this thread. A male knocking his partner around would gather no sympathy at all.

funnyandwittyusername · 27/01/2017 20:48

Onewiththeforce- unlucky for you you're not a moderator. I can post where I like

bijouxxx · 27/01/2017 20:49

No but a male offenders mother would

Carollocking · 27/01/2017 20:57

I've not seen any minimising?shes said what happened never hidden it so unless you are seeing other posts the rest of us can't I've no idea what you are talking about !
And victim blaming well everything has 2.sides and obviously both sides will be some bias whether on purpose or due to lack of knowing exactly what's happened and of course supporting your own offspring that's normal life

funnyandwittyusername · 27/01/2017 20:59

So if a mother whose son was a violent drunken domestic abuser with previous for assaulting police. Wrote Just worrying that fuck wit will turn up at court . I will flip if she's there about the victim, that would be fine and dandy?

OneWithTheForce · 27/01/2017 21:01

Onewiththeforce- unlucky for you you're not a moderator. I can post where I like

So could you please? I mean you clearly don't like this thread so maybe go and post where you do like. I mean what is your point here? I and everyone else is supporting a woman who has done nothing wrong but is going through a really tough time. What are you adding to the thread that is helping that poster?

Carollocking · 27/01/2017 21:04

I'm missing where she said she was the one to abuse her partner,?she stated that her partner abused her and in end she hit back ! Seems a different story to the rubbish you have said
