It is being reported by some news sources that Barbie Kardashian is being released.
This is worrying news for all women and girls in Ireland, and I just can't understand why this person is not considered a danger to himself and to others, and in need of treatment and supervision - not to be allowed out in society.

This is not a well person. If he wasn't so dangerous, he'd be pathetic.
If it is true that he has been released, all women need to be aware and careful.

Please update and confirm if you have any more facts about this, I'm just repeating what I've seen on MN and on some but not all Irish news websites.

He obviously needs very serious mental health help, it's a shame that he was sentenced to prison rather then some sort of hospital order in a forensic psych facility

He attacked his female social worker, he threatened a female prisoner with rape... The interview in one of the links on that thread seems to suggest that if he can't find his mother he will murder someone else.

In Limerick women’s prison total population 15 there were 3 men there at one time.

He is a disturbed individual. I honestly dont know how he was found not guilty over the threats to rape a fellow inmate.
