Now that 5-11 year olds can be vaccinated...who is getting their child vaccinated? Pros and cons? Trying to decide here and I'm not really finding much info on it.

That's great. My two just had there's this morning. So far no issues, 8 year old complaining of sore arm while 6 year old is like nothing happened.

It's great that you can get siblings done at the same time.

I forgot DD's passport, I did have her PPS number. I joked to the woman behind the counter that DD was definitely mine and I wasn't in the habit of grabbing random kids off the street to get them vaccinated. DD was scarlet behind me with embarrassment.

We aren't in the habit of producing ID for ourselves, let alone na páistí.

Got DS2 vaccinated on Friday but the wait was crazy - it was well over two hours by the time we were done. I was amazed how good all the kids were but was surprised they had crammed so many appointments into the day, especially for the smaller ones. I felt very sorry for the staff as we were finished around 5 and there was an even longer queue waiting than when we arrived. Am hoping the wait for the second one will be shorter.

Got my dc done, only 2 kids ahead of us, staff were great, free chocolate bars and didn't need ID for me or dc. No side effects at all, barely a sore arm.

You got very unlucky there I think, I don't know anyone around my way who has faced delays like that. Still, it's done now!

Kids due their second dose this weekend. So far no adverse reaction apart from sore arms thankfully.
