Where to buy bedlinen?

Bit random! I used to get my bed linen in Debenhams but since they closed the Irish site, they don't seem to be delivering from the UK here. Atnotts website is shit so I can't see what is cotton or not. Shaws selection isn't great. Dunnes stores is a bit uninspiring. I don't want to get screwed with UK import taxes so don't want to risk John Lewis, etc. Any suggestions for where to buy?

I got some lovely bedlined including high thread count cotton sheets in Homestore & More a few months ago. They often have reduced price bedlinen too.

I love nice bedlinen and buy most of mine in either TK Maxx or Arnotts (sale) You often find Bedeck, Sanderson, Christy etc in TK Maxx and a KS duvet cover is usually under €50. Also rate the Paul Costello range from Dunnes.

Still hoping Zara will open a homewares shop in Dublin. I saw an empty retail space in Dundrum shopping centre that would suit them.
I'll accept Zara vouchers as a finder's feeSmile

I wonder if it would be worth their while, Dundrum doesn't seem to have the footfall that it used to before Covid.

I wish Dunnes would take a unit in Dundrum @BlackAmericanoNoSugar - perhaps on the top floor where House of Fraser's second floor was, it's where HofF Homeware and Children's clothes and cafe were. Brown Thomas aren't using it. It's boarded up.

I think Tesco would object if Dunnes moved in, unless it was just household and clothing.

A relative sent me some lovely bedding from here a few years ago:

whiteandgreenhome.co.uk

It’s a mother-daughter owned company based in Ireland and the set I got is lovely (just plain white) and is wearing very well.

LadyEloise1 · 08/01/2023 12:54

I was thinking just household and clothing @BlackAmericanoNoSugar

You’re in luck @LadyEloise1

Dunnes to open in Dundrum

LadyEloise1 · 08/01/2023 18:18

Yay !
But is the Penneys space big enough ?
If I were Dunnes, I'd put in Homeware, Savida, Gallery, Carolyn Donnelly , Paul Costello, Joanne Hynes, Helen Steele, Lennon Courtney ( are Dunnes still doing it ? ) and the gym stuff , Powercut. Childrens wear too. Cinders shoes ? Accessories.
Basically Cornelscourt ground floor without the food Smile

BlackAmericanoNoSugar · 08/01/2023 22:49

I don't think Cornelscourt without the food, cafe and shops is all that much bigger than the Pennys space, so they would be able to get most of the range in.
