Yes, i've dared to mention Xmas already cowers but as you see bargains it would be good to share them. I'm wanting to buy little bits across the year so that I don't have to spend loads at the end of the year.

So, i'll start, Debenhams have a sale on until Saturay so i'm going to stock up on the kids clothes.

What else has everyone else found?

Too early!!!!!

wukter · 11/05/2010 20:55

Jesus! I've just seen "christmas" ina thread title, My eyes are scalded

serajen · 12/05/2010 11:55

no, please, don't do this, can't we just live in the day?

mumoverseas · 12/05/2010 12:06

I've just this minute been sorting out christmas cards that I bought in the sales in January. I live in the Middle East where we can't get Christmas stuff so I bring it all back from the UK. I sell card and paper and other Christmas stuff and the profit goes to Great Ormond Street Hospital. Have just been re-packaging the cards ready to sell in November and thought I was alone in getting Christmas sorted in May

mumoverseas - you're not alone, i'm trying to get on top of things.

serajen, wukter and whomovedmychocolate - if you want to live in the day then feel free. My maternity pay will end in September and i then have my nieces birthday to pay for, Xmas and DS is a boxing day baby so I need to spread the cost of it all especially as it's just my income.

So, are there any other anal organised people on here that have found some bargains?

I have 10 nieces/nephews to buy plus DD is a dec baby although i have decided that we are not buying her anything if i can help it she will only be 2 and last year she got a ridiculous amount of swuff

compo · 13/05/2010 19:17

How on earth will you know their sizes?!

mumoverseas · 14/05/2010 05:35

Newbiggining I was a boxing day baby!

BudaisintheZONE · 14/05/2010 06:47

It's a good idea but I would maybe not do clothes as it will all be summer stuff in sales now. Toys , books, toiletries, little bits for stocking fillers etc are all good.

compo- I have bought my son stuff that we can layer with so for instance a really nice blue zoo jumper from debenhams for £3.20 which he can either wear with a top under and a coat or as it is but as the size is 12-18 months Ive played it safe.
