Oh dear I'm now firmly on my vinted shopping era again 😆 I have phases where I buy too much from vinted then go months without anything.
Managed to get 4 next dresses and a Zara dress and top for £7.93 delivered for DD so quite happy it's awesome when you find a wardrobe that aligns with your style and you just end up buying everything.
Somehow my husband isn't particularly excited about another stage of ... I've got to go X to pick a parcel up. I accidentally sent one to a similar sounding place that was a good journey away once that was a particular highlight.

Go on nana pumpkin you get them chocolates eaten our lass.

Oh @RumBananaSundae, £14 for lunch and £9 on biscuits/crackers isn’t too bad lovely , especially if you enjoyed yourself , that is the main thing 😊. I am so glad you threw the towel in and met your friend, that exhibition sounds lovely too 😊.
Hope the theatre with Flakey goes ahead tomorrow and she doesn’t let you down again 😂. And thank you for thinking of me and my Mum bless you sweetheart ❤️

How was the exhibition @RumBananaSundae? Did flakey turn up?

So we came to Somerset yesterday. DD has a UTI and we only found out half way here. Great. We dumped our stuff in the hotel and had to find a hospital asap. The plus side is that in the country, the NHS works a lot better than in London. In and out within 1 HR with meds. They still haven't kicked in yet so we have had a stressful 24 hours so far with tears and pain. OH in a foul mood and my sense of humour is running low. A great start to the holiday. But if the UTI had started a day earlier we wouldn't have left home and would be dealing with a 6 hour wait in a hospital just to get to the front of the queue.
I think I can remember the cost of things.
£10 for parking at hotel.
£5 for parking at a park to keep DD happy.
£8 on jelly shoes as hers are starting to wear.
£40 on a suitcase before we came.
£26 on petrol in case I didn't declare that one.
OH has paid for the rest. Does seem that we pay for normal things when away. Food. Petrol. Shoes. New knickers (from all the accidents at the mo) I guess that's the downside of self catering. But it has a private pool and a gym which DD and I have already enjoyed and she has two bedrooms to choose from and the views are second to none which is why I adore it here. We are now talking about buying a place here. My dream may come true yet.

Oh love, what a horrible start to your holiday 😢❤️ . Your poor DD 😭, I really hope the antibiotics kick in soon and she’s feeling much more comfortable @Frugal25. It must have been awful seeing her in so much pain, especially with OH being grumpy understandably l am not having a pop at him ! 😘 Thank goodness you got seen so quickly though ,that really is a blessing.
Hopefully the next few days are much more relaxing and you can all enjoy that gorgeous place. The private pool, gym and those amazing views sound like heaven! I so understand why you’re dreaming of buying a place there. ❤️ I really hope that dream comes true for you one day sweetheart bless you 🙏.

Well we bought a TGTG bag from Greggs tonight and it was crammed full of pasties ,sausage rolls and bakes , it was unbelievable so so much in it , we will have to freeze it . So spent £2.99 for that but omg it was brilliant . l can't eat it cos of the gf but nevermind 😁

OH is a good man but I'm resisting the urge to throttle him at the mo. I'm trying to do it all and I burnt dinner. Well. I burnt my dinner. They have dinner. All coz I'm doing everything and he is sat on his phone. I've pretty much had it today. It will do my waist line good though :) although I've just cracked open the wine, that probably doesn't help my waist line.

Well let's just say if I called the police for a break in it wouldn't look out of place.
We're at the point where it's a pig sty so as it's keeping her quiet I'm letting her crack on and am planning a menty B later.
Literally just called tiny tantrum - looking into her eyes as I read took a whole new level.

Just under £12 yesterday at the theatre and £5.82 today in Asda and Aldi. It’s amazing how much meal planning is influenced by yellow stickers. They were on my card as I have just over £1 left from the cash that was meant to last all month. Though £21 of that cash was running things in the Marks and Spencer sale.

That’s quite a catch for £7.93 @Ovoemconserva. I’d be happy too. Laughed at the description of tornado child.

The exhibition was good thank you @Frugal25. Sorry your daughter isn’t well. I hope the drugs are kicking in now. Hope your holiday improves. I have my pom-poms out for your credit card. Good going. How is your day going today?

Flakey showed and we had a lovely time yesterday. I took the bus so the journey in and back was £1.75. Boss is on leave tomorrow so it feels like a three day weekend.

I have spent rather a lot.
Sainsburys £43.21 on bits and some beef for dinner today. We live with my Mum and she has been spending two weeks with my sister. The latter is a good cook but is vegetarian and does not make a Sunday dinner. So she is agreeably anticipating her roast beef today.
We visited two transport museums yesterday, and took a picnic lunch. Both places were free but I donated £5 at one because I borrowed a wheelchair for Mum. She is 87 and does very well but was tired out.I also bought a Christmas present and some cards for £15.
Another £15 today for ice cream. This seems a lot but it was a charity fundraiser run by some neighbours who we like very much so we wanted to support.
DH and I harvested half out plums. I prepared and froze six small begs and we gave four larger bags to neighbours. There are at least as many left so we must finish the job soon.
Thank you for the tip re Tesco chocolates in tubs, @DirtyGertiefromno30 . I have a Tesco voucher for £4.50. So that should cover a Celebrations tub nicely. And we shall give them to any children on Halloween. We had so many sweets left year we were still giving them out at Christmas, so I decided only one lot this year and our light goes off when they are finished.

Honestly @Ovoemconserva, I don't blame you for letting your Dd crack on if it's keeping her quiet . The house can be dealt with later , or maybe by the police forensic team when they arrive to investigate the apparent break in 😂.

Back from a weeks holiday so back to frugal ways tomorrow. However managed to score the best bargain while away: order Bluey Lego house on Amazon for DD main Xmas present because it was a good price (£38 instead of £60). After 3 days of it not appearing when it was supposed to Amazon declared it was lost in delivery and offered me a refund, I accepted and noted that it specifically said if the item turns up you can keep it for free or dispose of it as you wish. Well 2 days later it turned up! So now have DD main Xmas present for free.

So glad your ok today @DirtyGertiefromno30and your mum too. Long may it continue too.

DD getting better. Uti is def on its way out so I'm finally starting to relax on holiday 4 days in. We may try something further a field today now things aren't so frantic.

I am having a much needed treat day today.
Have neglected myself recently so have brought myself for coffee (obviously) and a nip around the shops.
Not really seen anything I want yet but nice to have a bit of mental space.
Going to go to the farm shop now for something yummy for tea. And a cake which will be gone before I get home 😆
