Family of 4 - how much water per month?

I’ve just received my revised monthly water bill - £50 per month. The water company is saying this is a revised bill as they’ve just made an estimate in January.
To me this sounds way too much (the bills says it’s the equivalent of 3.5m3 per day which would be loads).
How much water do you use per day?
I’ve been worried that the house is leaking water since we moved in, we’ve been paying more since day one. We don’t bath/shower every day, the WM/DW isn’t on every day, I don’t water the garden etc.

I've just come off the phone to South eastern water as apparently I'm using over £300 per month! That's ridiculous as I have three children and we don't use that much water.

We are council tenants and the moment it's included in our rent. We have been told by the water company they can't put a meter in, to difficult apparentky as the mains run under the houses!!!

Family of 4, 2 teens 2 adults. 120 m3 per year. It's about €5 per cubic metre. So about €50 per month.

2 adults 1 out at work. £30 a month. I use a water jug daytimes when working to save on flush. To not flush the loo all day long really gives me the ick...! Severn Trent and on a meter.
