I am currently on the social housing list. I am a single mother to a four year old and take home pay after tax is £2000 a month. I currently rent a small one bed property privately. I want to bid on a two bed property that is £1000 a month. Will the council pay for this rent if I am successful?

Disagree. The primary responsibility for looking after the child should fall to both parents rather than the state. The state should only pick up the slack when there is no viable alternative.

Go and hunt him down then

My social housing place was £700 a month in a small town this is housing association Ona. Extremely rough anti social road I gave mine up because it wasn’t worth it for me to pay that to live in a area that affected my mental health so bad
