First day of roll outs today. What area do you live in and have you received it yet?

I've now had a text saying (what I knew already) 10-19 Nov. So a week prior to the earliest due date as it were.

I didn’t get a message but don’t think everyone has oh well I’m sure it will turn up!

I did receive mine today.
And spent every penny of it on bills to clear them.
I'm now a month in front with all bills.
I could have spent it on crap but I said from day one it's going to clear my debts and it did.
IM FREE and sticking to it.😁

Nope not yet I've not had a text either but didn't last time. I don't get how some ppl have notifications and others don't. We are on uc my partner works 50 hours a week and I'm a carer for our 3 disabled children so we recieve a payment each month. Worrying about now. We used to qualify for the warm home discount until they changed the criteria last year with how big your house is as to whether they give you it which is also unfair as I live in a small house because I can't afford a bigger one but I can't not have the heating on because my children would end up in hospital

When was your assessment period?

To be eligible for the Cost of Living Payment from DWP, you need to have been entitled to a payment for a qualifying benefit between 18 August 2023 and 17 September 2023, or payment for an assessment period, ending between these dates. From HMRC, you need to have received a payment of tax credits for any day in the period between 18 August 2023 and 17 September 2023.

this is on Gov. did you receive a payment between those dates stated?

We didn't get a payment for september, the assessment period was 3rd August to 2nd September for that. We got a payment in October though and the assessment for that was 3rd September to 2nd of October? So I'm unsure

What about august did you get a payment?

@Mammaitalian As long as the payment you received in August was from the 18th onwards then you will be eligible

Yes mine was the 20th of august. Still waiting but I’m sure it will turn up before the 19th!

Any one had 299 cost of living west midlands

I’m really panicking. I got the first 2 payments so does that definitely mean I will get the 3rd? We got UC in Oct, Nov, Dec & Jan.

Yes you will...you have until the 22 nd to receive payment. The days you have received previous payments have no bearing on when you will get this one. They are 100% randomised by a computer system. So bank, surname, NInumber and town have no relevance to when you will be paid.

There will be no further cost of living payments.
