PIP renewal decision text

Hi everyone. I done a telephone assessment for my pip renewal last month or so. Today I received a text saying

“Your PIP review is complete. You should receive your decision letter in 2 weeks. Once you receive your letter, contact us if you have any questions. Do not call before you get the letter as we will not be able to tell you the decision. Please remember to contact us if your circumstances change.”

Has anyone else received this and still got rewarded? Because I'm seeing that some people get a similar text to this but it states that they “have been awarded pip”. Is my text a code for a rejection?

have a lovely day! Thank you

Yes, I have, and I received both enhanced care and mobility for 10 years. Don't panic unnecessarily just yet!

Fingers crossed for you. 🤞

It's just a standard text everyone gets them.

ToddlerMama27 · 01/06/2023 17:21

How long did it take you to get to this point from them receiving your form?

Dp sent his last March. He got the text above yesterday. His is a renewal though which I think are taking longer than new claims.

I got this text last Friday, how long after you receive this text does the letter usually arrive?

Patchw0rk · 23/06/2023 16:20

LadyJ2023 · 28/06/2023 20:22

Standard text. Mine followed with a letter fixed for 10 years last month

Mj2023 · 09/08/2023 08:12

Did anyone get PIP payment before their letter arrived?..If so how long before the letter arrived?..I have read that some people received payment before the letter..I received a text stating my review is complete and will receive a letter in 2 weeks..it does not state that I have been awarded PIP like most on here..So worried..

Princess1111 · 13/08/2023 16:29

Can i ask did you get awarded in the end? I’ve just got the same and I’m wondering are they going to take it off me with no interview

Rachel19852023 · 12/11/2023 21:46

not sure if you mean me but i went from standard daily living to enhanced and from no mobility to enhanced so payments went from £270 ish to £691 monthly so imo a big jump

catskittens · 14/11/2023 18:21

sorry meant to add i had a paper based decision and all sorted in 13 weeks
mine was a change in circumstance but mine was going to run out Novemner 2024 so it looks like they done it as a review as well as they gave me 6yrs till it runs out

have you heard any more

londonish · 18/11/2023 09:49

Hey that’s amazing I got the texts 3 weeks ago but still no letter and I’m really concerned, I hadn’t noticed the time frame that passed (loads going on and mental fatigue I guess) do you think I can get an answer over the phone on Monday because I haven’t seen anyone else say it’s been longer than a week getting the letter after the text

catskittens · 18/11/2023 14:20

have you tried phoning the pip number and going through to the automated payment section, thats how i found out before the ketter as it said next payment eg 1 october £691 so i knew my award had gone up and just worked out what tha payment was,no need to speak to anybody

londonish · 18/11/2023 18:23

Thanks for replying, Not yet the lines not open on the weekends unfortunately, going to call Monday just wondering if there was anyone who’s had similar and what their outcome was

catskittens · 18/11/2023 19:47

Yes I've received the same text today . Does that mean I've been rejected?

My is a renewal.

Gardenrose2 · 14/12/2023 16:50

Yes I've received the same text today . Does that mean I will be rejected? Really worried. Its a renewal and my condition has worsened.

It's a standard text, doesn't mean anything other than they've made a decision. As yours is a renewal, ring the PIP number and the automated system will tell you when your next payment is due, and how much it will be. You can then work out what they have or haven't awarded you on your assessment.

Gardenrose2 · 15/12/2023 01:25

Thank you . I will try ringing in the morning
