Mine is 9c anyone else's house this cold? I have my electric throw so not really feeling it until i need to do something and I'm straight back under it.
I know they say it's unhealthy but is it really when you're keeping yourself warm?

19 right now, would prefer it 20 and it will get there later in the day if we stay in.

I've caved and put it on in the day today as we are home. Set to 13 at the thermostat, 15.9 in the sitting room with the door closed.

18 to see if it makes any difference.
I'm coughing more than usual, so back up to 21 it goes...

19c in the hallway currently, we have a lounge wood burner that pretty much heats the whole house but the kitchen at the back is cold if you walk into it. Electric underfloor heating in there is set to 16c but I'm not cranking it up anymore!

Upstairs will be fine to go to bed later but the dog jumped on the bed last night and the night before meaning he was feeling the cold in the night.

Radiators upstairs come on for an hour or so in the morning and then we light the fire around midday. Getting through a fair few logs in this cold but I'd rather pay the local log company than British Gas

I actually haven't bothered to turn it back up to 16, as keeping the door closed means the sitting room is almost that anyway! Thermostat is by the front door and with the sitting room door left open, the room temperature and thermostat temperature are the same. I can't figure out if this will work out cheaper or not? The kitchen being 13 makes the sitting room feel about 20 so we are actually warmer.
